Afridi playes with half heart when he is sent down the order. I think the lousey shot tells a lot about his disappointment with coach's decision. He plays well on this position when Pak is losing a match, but fails when Pak is in wining position. its a trend.

That's why they say that set batsmen should always try and finish the job themselves (no matter how good the team position) rather than leaving it to others. Can't blame Younis because he played well but he must now regret holing out to mid-wicket when set.

Afridi need to visit Drawing Room ASAP. He did same in 20/20 and he has done that before that so many times. When you only need 4 runs an over, why do you want to hit the ball out of ground? Now he will come back to qoom with his famous "MAIN QOOM SAI MAAFI MANGTA HOON" this has become his routine drill !

Thats exactly my thought as well!!! what the hell was he thinking when he played that shot?? Rehman had already got a boundry in that over and he was telling Rehman “Bohot Alla, Araam Se” and he himself played a horrible shot on the last ball of the over:smack: no wonder he wasnt made VC or even captain…Osman Samiuddin from cricinfo is right…Afridi’s batting hasen’t even got out of puberty yet.
