There were only three movies worth watching from 2004... Hum Tum, Khakee and Swades... and these were pretty much well rounded in all aspects - so I just hope the winners are selected from these.

^ u didnt like Yuva im really suprised Umar hehe.. i loved that movie.. but then again im a die hard abhishek fan…

main hoon na.. was a good movie, but come on! how does that make the top 5?? there were so many better movies than that… lemme think hmmm still thinking.. hmm ok maybe last year was a bad year..

saddzz... Yuva was ok... at least I watched it without stopping it after the first 15 mins which is what usually happens when I watch indian flicks... similarly, I also liked Dev but Yuva and Dev shouldn't win awards cuz there were better movies.

u serious? i forgot about Dev.. i loved that movie too... hmm with Yuva, i just thought the story was quite different.. hmm well maybe not the story, but the way it was told..

Dev, i just loved cus of amitabh, and i guess thats not a real reason for it to win any award

as for the movies up for Best Film.. id only go for idunno.. Hum Tum or swades... the rest are so commericial and i dunno.. so blaaah

my man akki bhai deserves a accolade for his terrific perfomances over the last 4 years, the guy has completely changed his acting skills and is now well established amongst the elite.

i'm surprised mr manoj bajpai's name is not even on any of the awards list, the guy is a genious when it comes to hardcore dialogue delivery and he is old school and worthy of applause.

i hope the best comedian after mehmood for me paresh rawal gets' a much deserved award, he has been amazing over the last few years with a change to comedy from his normal villian roles + i hope kunal ganjawala doesn't get the award for beeghe haunt tere as najam sheraz won't be best pleased.

priyanka was also outstanding in aitraaz a sultry seductress and she portrayed her character very well...... hopefully these guys will win awards. i must admit a strong candidates list this time around.

what pisses me off is that Saif doesn't get nominated as a lead actor, which he was in Hum Tum! and deserves at least a nomination to say the least.

Priety is soooo freakin over-rated... can't act for $hit either... I hope Urmila wins it, or Rani for Hum Tum... yeah try givin these substantive roles to Priety and then we'll talk.

I dont believe this. Where is Saif (Hum Tum)? Dhoom was a good movie and nobody is selected from dhoom either…all the time shahrukh, shahrukh, shahrukh…man I am sick of this guy…atleast don’t nominate him for Main hoon na and Veer zara..gosh India is no less than Pakistan when it comes to favouritism. And amitabh was better in Dev than Khakee..anyways nominations show hows the awards ceremony going to be

exactly… i was thinknig the same thing.. why hasnt Saif been mentioned for best actor.. his role in Hum Tum was far better than that of SRK’s in veer zara and main hoon na… i didnt see how SRK’s role in both these movies was any different from what he’s done before… also Saif didnt get a mention for best villian role he played in Ek Haseena Thi… i dont understand..

Exactly my sentiments. Saif did a heck of a job in Hum Tum, the best of his life. He should get an award on this.

Shahrukh I didn’t see a brilliant movie like SwaDes because he is in it. I heard the movie is good. I will watch it soon. I need to get over his typical acting, that is why I wait for atleast 6 months before I watch a supposedly good movie. The rest I don’t watch anymore so can’t say. In the year 2004 I watched Hum Tum and a little bit of Hulchul and I liked both. I will also watch Dhoom as its said to be a good movie. I rented atleast 5 movies last year but didn’t feel like watching them, so I returned. Indian movies are gone down the hill, really. I like Ram Gopal Verma’s experiments.

They will please everyone this year like always by giving them Special awards with fake names like Power Award, super duper performance award, special guest in a special role award, best clothing award blah blah blah...
