Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

The only one who deserved any awards was Abhishek for Yuva. If these crappy Filmfare awards were anything like the Oscars, he would have taken the award for best actor. Instead, he wasn't even nominated.

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

^ at least they dint give it to stupid Hrithik for stupid-stupid Lakshya or bimbo Preity :)

IMHO, Amitabh deserved to win to Khakee and Urmila for Aik Haseena Thi.

In any case, do you guys find somefin wrong with this picture... (as of 11:00 AM from the filmfare website):

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

You still have to admit, Shah Rukh Khan with 3 nominations was a freakin’ joke! Sean Penn had two nominations at the Oscars last year but he so deserved them. The award seems more like “Best Hero” rather than “Best Actor”. I hate the Filmfare awards  .

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

yep… no comparison to Sean Penn’s nominations… he rocked in both movies.

Khair, I just heard that Amitabh got three nominations in 1978 for Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Trishul and Don… but I could see that happening cuz there was none better than him at the time and his acting int he first two movies was fabulous.

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

the whole industry kissing king khan’s a$$ once again. nothing new der den, the whole awards programs is always fixed. only those who r ‘prefered’ get the awards. wat rubbish. king khan’s acting offers no scope, its’ always the same oooos and aaas yet his name is printed on the takhti??? why not own up and admit only his image is enough for the awards and not the ‘acting’ which is a pre-requisite u freak of a award organisers :mudhosh:

agreed she was brilliant :k: although her role in yuva was more challenging and yet in dat category she is only a ‘supporting actress’ emm HELLO???

this movie was crap although second half of the film was bearable. a big flop and it gets’ a award??? lagta hai critics ko charrri houvi thee.

another blunder… akki was far superior and better in msk yet heis ignored once again.

more like ‘najam sheraz’

another ward for ‘najam sheraz’. san 2000 mein ki gayee mehnat rang layee

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

i think the biggies like SRK declares ahead of time that he would only be attending the show if guaranteed the award or @$$ kissing.
But this time i think he did a decent job in Swades whereas the other two movies and him getting nominated was a joke. the only true contender in the category was Big B with brilliant performance in Khakee.

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

Ullooh kay pathay Filmfare awards and Bollywood :nah:

Kunal Ganjawala :mad3: got two awards for copying Najam Sheraz’s song. That explains well where Bollywood stands. Cheap dogs!

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

hey is that really najam’s song cuz i heard him singing THE song with different lyrics offcourse and i thought he sang the song for the movie until i saw this other guy taking the award.

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

Critics Award for Best Actress - Rani Mukherjee (Yuva)
sorry guys i have posted wrong result... for this category
Critics Award for Best Actress - Kareena Kapoor (Dev)

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

and who won the BEST NEW COMER AWARD ????

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

bhege haunth tere is najam sheraz’s song. he released a album in 2000 from which this was 1 of the songs. anu malik stole his song, had ganjawala sing it for murder, then najam found out, he hopped on a flight 2 hindia, shut anu up, re sang it himself for good measure, but movie director chose ganjawala to sing for them.

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

I loved Shahrukhs dance sequence with the older heroines though. Especially with Zeenat Amaan and Rekha :hehe: I love it when they focus on Amitabh whenever she is on stage. Haha. Ullu ka patha should have married her.

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

Nahinn jaya jee has so much class, I dont like Rekha one bit, and she came on to him when he was already married. Classless lady.

Re: 50th FILMFARE AWARDS NOMINATIONS [OFFICAL AWARDS]

Jaya is a bore. She laughs weirdly too. I didn't know about him being married at that time though. That does suck. But it couldn't have been onesided.
