5 Differences between the Mujahideen and the 15 British Sailors

5 Differences between the Mujahideen and the 15 British Sailors
By Showkat Ali

  1. The British sailors surrendered because they said they were outnumbered and out gunned and they had no choice and did the right thing.

The Mujahideen are fighting foreign occupation despite being outnumbered and outgunned they continue to fight and very rarely surrender.

  1. The British sailors will sell their stories to the newspapers for 6 figure sums and get rich in the process. Many of the families of current soldiers complained that this is a disgrace.

The Mujahideen do not sell their stories for money rather they sacrifice their life for their creator gladly. As one Mujahidden in Kashmir said “When our brethren ask about us, tell them that we sacrificed our today, for their tomorrow

  1. Britain and other western countries to prove equality send their women to fight leaving behind their husband and children at home.

The Mujahideen kiss their wives, mothers and daughters goodbye and leave them at home to liberate their land and secure the future for their families.

  1. The British sailors were shown on Iranian TV apologising which they are now retracting and saying they were forced and manipulated into making those statements.

The Mujahidden when captured do not make grovelling apologies hence have to be tortured in the most vile and inhumane manner in places like Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo.

  1. The British sailors are seen as heroes by their families and other people having survived being captured.

The Mujahideen only attain hero status when they are killed and whilst they are fighting do not seek fame or reveal their names preferring to use aliases.

Now the important question is which of these two sides will be victorious based on their principles The western Crusaders or the Muslim Mujahideen?

Re: 5 Differences between the Mujahideen and the 15 British Sailors

very true !

Re: 5 Differences between the Mujahideen and the 15 British Sailors

There is a difference in the captors too -
The captors of British Soldier will negotiate political points for the release. The British would not release them without a trial.
The captors of British soldiers would torture the prisoners in inhuman ways (like slitting the throats and showing on video), the British would not do that.
The British soldiers would not have been given a fair trial, the mujahideen prisoners would be given fairer trial.

One difference in the prisoners is that - The Mujahideens have been brain washed, the british soldiers were not.

They will fight another day. Comiting suicide is not the best of options.

No bast*rd ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bast*rd die for his country.

Oh…
What a camparison Sailors to Terrorists

Re: 5 Differences between the Mujahideen and the 15 British Sailors

It seems these sailors are very lucky to have been captured.

Not only did they get off a dangerous duty they are now selling their story for few hundred thousand pounds.

Re: 5 Differences between the Mujahideen and the 15 British Sailors

^^ The British MoD stopped the sailors from selling their stories after coming under heavy criticism.

As for being lucky, their job was to inspect Cargo Ships going to and from Basra, hardly any dangerous duty.

Re: 5 Differences between the Mujahideen and the 15 British Sailors

She already has sold the story, interview has been recorded and by now probably on air.

Re: 5 Differences between the Mujahideen and the 15 British Sailors

^^ yup that was stupid on the part of MoD to do this....

As the conflict is on going.

This goes back to the Falkland War of 1982 when MoD allowed British Soldiers who fought there to release their stories to the media.

Re: 5 Differences between the Mujahideen and the 15 British Sailors

The facts are a little different. Your Mujahideens give up very easily in the police custody and in court they plead 'not guilty' instead of arguing for their cause.

A critical analysis of this article
By Fraudz

They do run away and hide like rats though using civilians as their shield, e.g. the ifamous mullah omar of taleban who made all tall claims and when the chitrol started took off.

similarly the simpletons from Pakistani villages who were sent by their mullahs to go join the taleban..had the interesting realization that the people they came to support, took off overnight and are in hiding.

most of those militants dont kow how to write and most of their supporters dont know how to read so a story will not really do much.

the 'mujahideen' send women to be suicide bombers.

and those ppl are also saying that they were manipulated/tortured into making those statements.

some other ones backtrack and claim that what they said was not what they meant and all that jazz.

not really, case in point mullah omar, or OBL, from what I have read they are not dead, but are seen as heroes by their moronic followers.

Mickey Mouse.

Re: 5 Differences between the Mujahideen and the 15 British Sailors

I'm here

Just reading what non-Muslims have to say about the Islamic idea of mujahideen, which means one who fights in the way of Allah based on Islam.

The Prophet Muhammed and his companions and millions of Muslims after him were proud to label themselves as Mujahideen.

Today we have Muslims in various parts of the world fighting to reverse the occupation of their lands until the victory comes.

So the opinion of non-Muslims is to be expected and even if the Prophet Muhammad was alive today he would never condemn the Mujahideen, nor would Muahmmed bin Kassim who brought Islam into Hind.

So mock and insult as much as you like and at the same time continue to support the war on terror if you think its valid and just.

For Muslims who condemn and verbally attack the Mujahideen all i can say is many non-Muslims will agree with you and praise you, but what will the angels record?

Re: 5 Differences between the Mujahideen and the 15 British Sailors

Hey man if you think supporting people who blow up innocent civilians and all is islamic, or who use drug trade to fund their activities, or black marketing, and money laundering and scams etc...then I dunno.

I cant support those people and I think angels will record that I spoke up against ppl who are abusing religion and are engaging in activities prohibited by Islam.

PS: you attempted to show differences, I just showed you that there were weaknesses in your stance, consider it a constructive criticism of your article and redraft it so others dont poke holes in it as easily as I did.

Re: 5 Differences between the Mujahideen and the 15 British Sailors

Sorry, but it's some of the self proclaimed Muslims who don't know how to fight in the way of Allah. You want to put all these fighters under the umbrella of mujahideen when in fact many of them are evil, violent souls fighting in the ways of shaitan.

Even if one accepts the fact that it is possbile to fight and kill in the name of God (I don't) just because someone *claims *to be Muslim and kills others in the name of Allah does not automatically make him righteous.
