For the discussion on mascara...I use Clinique's High Impact Mascara and it works wonders! It's far better than any drugstore mascara I've tried. Has anyone else used this?

Yeah Clinique's High Impact Mascara is really good!! It's my favorite mascara and stays fresh for a long time!

1. Eucerin calming cream for body (the only thing that works in keeping my eczema at bay)
2. Neutrogena face lotion
3. Rosehip oil
4. Urban decay 24/7 eyepencil (love/hate relationship)
5. Witchhazel toner

For those wanting to try Clinique High Impact mascara they tend to be quite generous with free samples (am sure I have a mini version of that mascara around somewhere), same with Elizabeth Arden, am sure they'd give u a trial size if you just go + ask :)

I can only think of 3 products that I'd really miss and coudn't do without..

• Everyday compact foundation (MAC Studio Tech or EA Sponge on Cream)
• A thickening + lengthening mascara (Diorshow mascara, original or Blackout)
• A pair of false lashes

You know I tried that bobbi brown corrector at Sephora...now idk if it's my foundation or my camera or what, but the salesgirl put this corrector on me that was very dark...when I went outside in normal light, it looked orange! but when I took a picture, it looked seamlessly blended in...so weird.

I either need a new camera or a new foundation, never had so many issues in the past with pix vs real.

sara i know what you mean! are you sure she matched you correctly? sometimes the SAs match us too dark i have noticed..my sister went for a match and she was matched to a super dark corrector. Also, I usually almost always use a concealer on top to take away the orange/pink color away cause it def. is there. bobbi brown concealers are very creamy and they tend to set in the fine lines under the eyes so i always have to set it with a powder. so much work, but those dark circles gotta go!

for a cheap concealer i love the maybelline age rewind eraser concealer for those days at home

5 Products for me would be:
1) Aveeno Positively radiant moisturizer -- has SPF 15 AND is the only moisturizer that actually keeps my skin moisturized the whole day!
2) Makeup Forever foundation
3) NARS blush -- obviously orgasm
4) Eyeliner -- MAC graphic black
5) Nivea lip gloss

Okay I tried Diorshow on one eye and L'Oreal's mascara on the other...hubby says both look the same but Dior one looks more natural while L'Oreal looks good too but fake.

2. Batiste dry hair shampoo
3. Eyelash curlers
4. Maxfactor Mascara (its high street but i love the clump-free-ness of it_ if that can be used as an adjective :p)
5. Duac gel - used for a couple of weeks every few months, keeps the spots away!

How do u use it and how often? Also, the pharmacist told me to keep it refrigerated so you get a lovely cool tingly feeling on your skin when you apply it. I put mine on just before bed, a tiny layer of it, wait for it to dry and then hit the bed. Also you need to keep at it. I used to have teeny bumps on my forehead and cheeks (whiteheads?) and it took about a couple of weeks to go.

Me too!  i used to be so wary of them before coz my mum said it pulls out lashes so the first time i used them, I was half expecting to see a whole row of my lashes sitting on the tip of the curler when i pull it away from my eyes:bummer: but since that didnt happen, its one of my favourite items in my makeup bag!
