Asif's come back showed what magnificant prospect is he going to be for Pakistan as he took the mantle of strike bowler with aplomb having not played cricket for so long. His accuracy was top notch and Umar Gul complimented him really well. Shahid Nazir has been the surprise package in last two tests and I sure would like to see him remain in the pakistan set up and not discarded.
Imran Farhat and Hafeez played really well first up. It was so refreshing to see Hafeez's assured presence on the wicket. I was one of his criticis when he left the scene last year but if he has imprved himself then all kudos to him. Hope to see him scoring some big runs tomorrow.

^You could see in his technique that he didn't want to give it away, the way he tried to play straight every time and how he closed the face of the bat while doing it. Hopefully he does score well, because he is a top notch player.

Did any one notice Mr Faisal Iqbal exchanging words with Trscothick and he did the same in the previous test against Pieterson.
May be he was trying to put the batsman off so that they lose concentration.
It wll be interesting to see how he reacts when he is at the receiving end.

Yes - Miandad was known as a 'street fighter' and enjoyed the respect of the opposition and totally different personality to this little mupet.
