4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

So who is scoring century from India today?

Aussies have won the toss and elected to bat for the first time in this series so Indians may hope for a different result

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

I hope no indian scores a century and clogs uo the scoring in their 90s.

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

Calm start from aussies, 66 in 11 overs with no out. Can they score 350+? India is a very good chasing side so there is no doubt they can still win

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

There was a 4 over spell from Bhuvi and Ishant. Where they combined to give about 7 runs. Really bowled well. This was with score at 53.

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

In the end Maxwell again slaughtered the Indian bowlers.

5.55pm Australia will be pleased with that performance. The openers set the tone from the start with a brisk stand. Warner, coming back after the birth of his second child, made a really good 93. Aaron Finch though carried on to make a ton. The innings stalled temporarily with his dismissal but Steven Smith and Glenn Maxwell played enterprising cameos to lift Australia to 348*. *

"India's Last 5 ODI Bowling Performance: 438/4, 310/5, 309/3, 296/7, 348/8 = Total: 1701/27"

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

Marsh tried his best to slow down the average and played a role of Dhoni. Poor Performance by this man

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

at one point, Aussies looked like scoring 400+ runs but late quick wickets by Indians restrained them...a cameo by Maxwell help them to reach 348. India needs 349 at almost 7 runs an over. Indian batsmen need to be calm and target to score at least one boundary in every over on the average if they have any chance of winning the 4th ODI.

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

according to Shaukat Yusufzai, up to 30 are reported dead. the death count may further go up. let's hope N pray that it doesn't aameen.

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

Now India is slaughtering Aussie bowlers.. what they call it phatta wicket or very very good batting or very very bad bowling

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

Match seems to be fix :hmmm:

Australia 348/8 (50.0 ov)
India 278/4 (39.1 ov)
India require another 71 runs with 6 wickets and 10.5 overs remaining

39.1
Richardson to Kohli, OUT, Kohli finds the fielder. What is happening here? A nothing delivery from Richardson, fullish on leg. Kohli comes down the track and lobs a catch to mid-off. Just spooned up. Looked like a checked drive. Big big wicket. But, that has been a truly special innings from Kohli.
**V Kohli c Smith b Richardson 106 (92b 11x4 1x6) SR: 115.21

**
37.6
Hastings to Dhoni, OUT, Dhoni goes now. The crowd goes wild. Legcutter outside off, Dhoni comes down to try and manufacture a shot. He pokes at it and gets a thin outside edge which is gratefully accepted by Wade. Australia not out of it, just yet.
MS Dhoni c †Wade b Hastings 0 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Seven in the circle with a slip in place

37.5
Hastings to Dhoni, no run, back of a length, coming back in. Dhoni inside-halves down the pitch

37.4
Hastings to Dhoni, no run, full and wide, inside the tramline. Left alone

MS Dhoni

37.3
Hastings to S Dhawan, OUT, the misfield seems to have done Australia a favour. Can that change things? Or is too little too late? Dhawan goes. End of a scintillating knock from Dhawan. A smashing 126. A slower delivery outside off and Dhawan goes for the cut but cannot keep it down as backward point takes it.
S Dhawan c Bailey b Hastings 126 (113b 14x4 2x6) SR: 111.50

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

5 Down

India require another 63 runs with 5 wickets and 58 balls remaining

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

End of over 41 (9 runs) **India 291/5 **(58 runs required from 54 balls, RR: 7.09, RRR: 6.44)
:hmmm:
End of over 37 (9 runs) **India 274/1 **(75 runs required from 13 overs, RR: 7.40, RRR: 5.76)

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

6 Down :hmmm: I think now Dhoni should quit ODIs

End of over 42 (3 runs) **India 294/6 **(55 runs required from 48 balls, RR: 7.00, RRR: 6.87)

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

Still Jadeja can go for a win for India

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

Poor Batting by Jadeja

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

Top comment

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

Yes. Maxwell slaughter the bowling. Could have been 18 runs last over. But brilliant catch by Pandey in last ball.

Steve Smith batted fluently. Man is so good.

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

After brilliant batting what happend to India all of a sudden. Maybe they wnat 5 -0

Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

The match should be referred to ICC to check whether ti was fixed, the way the Indians lost. :snooty:

Well played Aus, looks like a 5 nil whitewash.
