Re: 4th ODI: Australia v India at Canberra, Jan 20, 2016

Didn't watch India batting.

As commentators pointed out, Dhoni is still the best when it comes to quick stumping. And runouts.

But fat too often he does not go after catches in from of 1st slip or even between him and first slip. For runouts you find him out of place because he doesn't hurry to where he needs to be. His appealing is lackadaisical - many times he has not joined the bowler for LBW. And replays showed batsman out. Sometimes even for light snick.

But his biggest sin is NOT giving opportunity to the youngsters to do well or to fail. His pushing himself up the order takes away from Gurukreet or any other youngster. In the earlier games they woukd have had more time to bat.

These matches need to be used to get the new players some time in the middle. But for dhkni, it is all about Dhoni.

And yes, he is no longer as good as he thinks he is. Have been saying this for 1.5 years.

^ The moment of silence is touching. And much appreciated.
