i think at the age of 40 you’re more than capable of making your own life decisions, barring some exceptions. At the same time, the girls that these guys are interested in AREN’T 20 something girls; most of the time, they’re educated, extremely mature, independent (that might be the problem) females. If 2 mature adults who are of decent age decide that they are “marriageable” than why are the mothers creating a fuss? You might be right, but with one case in particular that i know of, that’s not what was going on.
