Once again Waqar demonstartes his lack of brains as a captain by playing a cross bat swipe at Mcgrath and getting trapped lbw. He should have supported Raza and tried to avoid the follow on instead of trying to be a hero himself but instead showed a complete lack of responsibilty for a skipper.
McGrath becomes the 8th bowler in the history of Test cricket to claim 400 Test wickets. He has 4/34 in this innings now.

Saqlain after doing all the hard work threw it away by playing a silly shot. Waqar, the less said the better, he should have been out there supporting Raza and guiding him. not trying to save the follow on himself by playing silly shots.

Well played Hasan raza for an innings of great maturity for a 20 yr old. It certainly put his capatin to shame who showed no responsibility whatsoever. Raza played very patiently but he did play a couple of short balls a bit awkwardly from Mgrath so we'll have to see if that is a weakness or not.
Great opportunity for some of these Pakistan batsmen to grab their chance in the second innings on a pitch which is great for batting. Only problem is Warne, but Raza played him quite easily.
Taufeeq, Farhat, Misbah and faisal, it's time to stand up and be counted.
Interesting how our tailenders played better than our specialist batsmen. Its time for misbah ul haq to put up some numbers otherwise "bye bye" for him.This is the last chance for all the youngsters!

Its amazing when you couldnt find fault in Waqar's bowling in this innings you are criticizing as if He is responsible for the Follow-On, I sthink the idea was okay for him to attack a bit and for Raza to be there.... IT was just the wrong short chosen .... But Hasan has played very well!

If Waqar bowled well why would i criticise him for that? The shot he got out on was absolutely stupid on the pther hand. Fine attack if the ball is there to be hit, but a cross bat slog against a good length delivery is suicide. Imran khan used to be a slogger but once he became captain he started to play like on as well. Waqar's job was to make sure he stayed in and supported a batsman playing well at the other end. If he plays like a dumbass then he should be criticised, doubly so as he is a captain not just a bowler having a slog in the park.
