Being a bearded person doesn't make you pakistani....or even a muslim. The jewish rabbis have huge beards. The sikhs never shave after puberty. It may not be on my face, but it is on my tv screen. and its annoying. :(

American and European sports are filled with religion. Every baseball, basketball and NFL play ends with players shooting to stars and making cross, people do not make a fuss about it. I do not know why we have to feel so embarssed when some players express their religious beliefs in public?

Good point. But in my defense, I would have to say, that is a rarity at best. Also, these leagues are national leagues. They do not perform in international games, where they are supposed to represent a country, not a religion.
Secondly, I do not feel embarassed. I just think that asserting religion in sports is such a turn off, as a fan of the game.

Its bogus talk to say faith is in heart, when growing beard is a highly recommended act then anyone who follows the recommendation should be appreciated rather than condemned/criticised. Lets keep the religion discussion for the religion forum and not here :k:
