Good job by Hafeez, Yousuf, finally Inzi showing some recovery in batting 
and good bowling by Gul and Nazir to nail the threatening players, now the only threat remains from Lara, :insha: we will get them all tomorrow

I hope this is it for Inzamam, he had lost his touch with so much controversies and off-field issues. Inzamam in form is a great news for Pakistan and with Yousuf becoming an ever so reliable player, things will get even better for Pakistan.
I am impressed with Hafeez, he is calm and mature than Farhat. Hopefully he keeps his form alive and consistently performs for the team. Up coming ODI's may reveal the weakest link in our top order. Either it is going to be Younis or Farhat.
Last yet importantly, this is a great record for Pakistan and we should celebrate it on Gupshup. Pakistan has rarely been known for batsmen, it was always India, England and Australia that took the cake. Altough players like Hanif Mohammad, Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad and Inzamam-ul-Haq did their best but somehow people with statistics found a way to make them second best, until Mohammad Yousuf. This man has proved once and for all that Pakistan is capable of producing great batsmen in every era and hopefully many youngster will be inspired by him just like he got the inspiration to be the best.
This feat has changed the image of Pakistan with respect to Cricket, no longer statistical genius can keep our batsmen out of the loop, even tough I do not care about statistics but this time I do. This guy has worked so hard to achieved this feat and looking at the rollercoaster year we had, it was unimaginable. With bans to Inzamam and our pacers and the kind of reliable inngs Mohammad Yousuf played with definace, it is safe to say that he is the best in the world right now. Very few batsmen in the world can consistently take charge and carry their team with sublime consistent form and Yousuf did that through out this year. Hopefully he continues to perform this way and continue to make mark for the country.

He might not have selected the right amount of emotional level to achieve his desirability but Manjrekar has always been pretty thorough and very unbiased in his commentary, from the most that I have heard of him. He even mentioned the performance of his own team in front of Pakistan the last time we played in on this greentop, stating, "Only India would have done it." This was from the first day of the test match, if memory serves.
