3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

Makes a lot of sense on a mere batting pitch.

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

** India 626 & 131/2 (37.0 ov)
Pakistan 537
** India lead by 220 runs with 8 wickets remaining

*Stumps - Day 4
*

so indians are firmly in the driving seat. all they have to do now is to stretch the lead to say 275 run in the first hr of play, then declare and let pak to have a go at it. well thats wht i think kumble should do to bring the best out of this test match. but i think kumble will be just as much brave as YK was today and let the batsmen have more batting practice, especially with australian tour down under is just a few weeks away. anyhow, my guess for 5th day is as good as yours. for now, indians have the upper hand and they thoroughly deserve it.

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

I did not expect us to win this match with Danish and Sami in same team. 1 pessenger chal jata hai, 2 is too much.

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

ganguly also has 4 wickets to flaunt.its gona be between misbah and ganguli at last for man of the series

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

will be ganguly his innings have had a greater impact on the direction of the series

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

what you been smokin dude? They will declare more like around the same score as in 2nd test. Kumble doesn't have guts to declare at 275 with 80+ overs remaining.

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

Ha! Make me laugh, so you mean India is getting bored and needs some competition.

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

I don't think he meant that at all .. how did u manage to assume that?

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

Indian batsmen will not put 600s on Australian pitches. So much for the preparation!

This series was a waste of time for everyone other than some batsmen who added to their superficial 'records'.
Then you wonder why India doesn't produce good bowler..the pitches are graveyards for bowlers.

Shame on Indian management..losing a match like a lion is better than winning a series like a mouse.

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

couldn't agree more

If you call this "in consistent" then God knows k whats your "consistency" is! Only in-consistency that I see in the lists is quite a few "DNB" :)

I totally agree with u that every good thing has to come to an end but for Yousuf, I dont see end in near future .....

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

India really has no reason to put in the effort of scoring quickly and trying to take 10 wickets on the last day...would be really interesting if they do tho

Pakistan seems to have no interest in winning the match, they took their time and didnt attempt to score quickly to have more time to get India out again, they were batting for a draw from the first ball

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

Can you list up the Indian Series as well? Play is more less over there too. And If you compare these stats from India and S.A match ups...do you see some consistancy? Leave WI tour aside, any one can beat them in Test Cricket.
Yousuf needs to go, otherwise our way of play will not change. One play can effect the whole team. Slow strike rates in ODIs and pathetic fielding culture to be adopted.

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

And According to the PAki Coach, Pakis win the test series 2-0....Morally..He he

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

and pakistan surely showed lots of GUTS yesterday by declaring and showing the intent of winning. bravo!!!. indians are already 1 up so a draw won’t really matter much to them. however, for moral high ground, pak played for a draw. in my view, that shows how gutless they are for not going for the kill. 1 down or 2…doesn’t really matter much. pak will come out a loser team anyways :hehe: however, for lawson’s sake, a loser team with moral high ground. where they all can celebrate their defeats with gr8 joy. :@:

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

he must be high on naswar shared by YK n hameed :hehe:

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

I am not going to get into useless argument with you. I am talking about your suggestion of Kumble declaring on 275 and you are dragging Pakistani team’s draw, morale etc. Can we discuss one thing at a time?

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

Misbah, been impressed with this guy everytime i’ve seen him play. :k:

Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08

doesnt have the guts? dude if you think neutrally instead of an emotional pakistani fan and ask yourself why would they put in the effort to score quickly and even declare and set a target when pakistan has no interest to win this match?

you would have to be extremely stupid to declare at 275 with 80+ overs remaining on this flat track in the 3rd test match of a 3 match series when you are 1-0 up.

Try to think rationally instead of emotionally...
