How come Sreesanth is not playing? If I remember right he was going through Pakistan batting line pretty good last time
he is injured
right now i believe 4 players from regular XI are injured: dhoni, tendu, rp and zaheer

Some moisture and grass on the pitch on 1st day provided Pakistan with the first few wickets I believe... as the moisture turned into moisturizer all bowlers got creamed for flurry of runs, helped by snoozing Akmal as well brilliance of Yuvraj.
Pakistan again opting to play broken horses, the decision is going to cost this match too. Sami has finally got 2 wickets, not sure if it was his good bowling or batsmen's bad-luck or Akmal's once in a blue-moon catching habbit. If I had the choice of picking players from the current squad I would've rested Shoaib Akhtar and played Sohail Tanvir, Sarfaraz instead of Akmal and Abdul Rehman instead of Faisal Iqbal .....

actually akmal had a decent day. with a few minor hiccups, he did pretty well considering his recent form and performance.

karthik lucky not to be given out. in swinger from sami, karthik not offering any shot, ball hits him on back leg and was hitting off n middle stump but rudi said not out and thats all really matters. so finally something to talk about for pak team supporters :p

what an effect a couple of innings can have on you
karthik on the england tour looked so confident, dying to get out there and make runs...few bad innings...no confidence, playing like a school boy
pressure it too much in international cricket, one bad series and ur place is in doubt, yuvi had a bad series in west indies and if it wasnt for injuries he would still not be playing
