Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08
This is the same wicket where Inzamam and Younis had 324 runs of partnership. Inzamam made his 186 runs on his 100 test appearance while Younis Khan with highest total in his test career. First session is competitive because of new ball, after that ball comes to batsmen. Pitch is slow and outfield is lightening fast. If Pakistani bowlers can dimiss the Indian batting line up early on second day than expect Butt, Hameed, Younis and Yousuf to have a similar day. It is the fourth and fifth day when the pitch starts to detoriate and gives the opportunity for the bowlers to win games. Inshallah we will be in a good shape to win the game.

don't forget pak will be batting last on this pitch unless they fail to avoid follow on and is enforced by india.
Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08
now - this seems more like Pakistan… chalo proves that we’re not all going nuts. That 65/4 was a really really short lived dream.
:k: to Yuvi and Guli though on a well fought comeback :k:
Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08
went to bed at after morning session
woke up, see 365/5, thats runs at a fast rate, especially surprising because India were going so slow and they were 4 down for 50 odd
didnt see the match, but yuvi sounds like he is having a dream run, coming into test side after a year, and making 169 on first day after being 4 down...unbelievable stuff
Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08
that is it for pak...at best, pak can draw this match....shoaib has been such a disappointment..he was the senior most bowler and his role in this match and last test match is not even worth mentioning.....
Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08
If India is to win this match, they have to post atleast 400 more and that too by close of 2nd day. Since our bowling attack is not all that great, we need that many runs and 3 days to get Pakistan out twice. Even then we should not allow any of the Pakistan batsmen to stick on and start scoring big like they did in last test.
Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08
That piece of **** Faisal Iqbal had better come good in this match as he's occupying the place of a fifth bowler (or all rounder). I am sure on any given day Razzaq would score more runs than Faisal Iqbal and provide us a bowling option too.
Re: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore - Dec 08
Some moisture and grass on the pitch on 1st day provided Pakistan with the first few wickets I believe... as the moisture turned into moisturizer all bowlers got creamed for flurry of runs, helped by snoozing Akmal as well brilliance of Yuvraj.
Pakistan again opting to play broken horses, the decision is going to cost this match too. Sami has finally got 2 wickets, not sure if it was his good bowling or batsmen's bad-luck or Akmal's once in a blue-moon catching habbit. If I had the choice of picking players from the current squad I would've rested Shoaib Akhtar and played Sohail Tanvir, Sarfaraz instead of Akmal and Abdul Rehman instead of Faisal Iqbal .....
Akmal's performance (as keeper) is giving respect to word joker.
