if you cant beat india how do u expect to beat Australia even england south africa...
because of this new team, our record against india is gettin worst and worst...

You are absolutely and pathetically wrong here. I think that India is the second best team in the world and India is performing consistently well. The only team better then us is Australia. An England or a down-and-out South Africa are no match for India.
So, Mr. Proud Pakistani... all is not lost. If you cannot beat India then you definitely cannot beat Australia. But, you can still beat South Africa and England. Think thousand times before comparing India with loosers like England and South Africa.
I am waiting for the disgraceful outcome of this final match when pak team is bowled out again around 190.
It will take 3-5 years for this team to mature and get over this loss. Hopefully in that time people like Wasim, waqar, imran will chip in to help these young people and get some confidence back.
Agar wasim/waqar halal ke hain to in ko help karni chaheye es team ki especially bowlers.

first of all i aint comparing india with any of the teams... i m just saying if we are to look at the first ODI. who do u think was better team.. pakistan went close to 340 runs or somethin liek that.. in the second game.. we played extremely good... and now look at the team.. its pathetic to see their performance.... dont call england or SA loser.. england beat us in worldcup when we had players like waseem waqar saeed anwar... so they arent loser...and south africa beat us in ODI in pakistan, dont forget that.. NZ beat us too in recent times.... so who do u think is better..... i aint saying pakistan is worst but we just dont have ability to perform in every game.. and if we dont perform then we can lose from any team in the world with the excpetions of sirilanka and bangladesh :S

pakistani players are there to make money not to play and win for the country. Its pathetic that the 90's politics still exist in pak team!!!

What's pathetic is the attitude of people like you. Every time there's a setback it's because of sifarish or a conspiracy. Doesn't it occur to you that India have got a pretty good team right now? Batsmen like Tendulkar, Laxman Ganguly etc aren't all that easy to dismiss...go ask the Aussies. Chuck in a decent bowling prospect like Pathan and you have a pretty formidable team. I'm still pretty convinced we are not far off being a good team ourselves. Back up Shoaib and Sami with Umar Gul and Shabbir and you saw what happened in Lahore. Give it a rest.
Good points Xtreme. I think to make it at the Int'l level, these guys are the cream of the crop. Winning takes experience, positive attitude, arrogance (confidence) and mostly nerve.
To castigate the entire team as hacks and single out players for non-performance in on ematch but laud the same in the other is quite ridiculous.
Good? we are not even close to being bad, we are very bad. My attitude may be pathetic but whats pathetic is that attitude of people like you who try to give themselves “jhooti tasali” by saying what you said in the bold text.
Just like you have problem with people being harsh on the team with “few” or “one” setback, on the same token we cannot rely on seamers like Gul and Shabbir for their one time performance. One time performance that they never were selected again for the 3rd test. nazok bowlers can’t be any backups for failures like Shoib. Bite wasim’s words, pace along won’t cut it for us and relying only on sami and shoib for “great” bowling isn’t going to either because they are after pace! Our bowlers failures have given indian batsman a chance to make record scores IN Pakistan.
The performance of our youngters and our bowlers is making the great players like Inzi, yoyo and javed look very bad and hurting their image as world class players.
Article from Cricinfo:
The attrition rate among Pakistan’s fast bowlers in this series has been a damning indictment of the team’s fitness regime, or lack of it. If there is a trainer working behind the scenes, either he’s clueless or the players pay scant regard to what he says. Shoaib himself gets bulkier by the day, but behind the He-Man physique lies the endurance of a 12-year-old. Imran Khan, perhaps the greatest cricketer the subcontinent has produced, bowled 223 overs – and one ball – in ten innings against the Indians in 1982-83, picking up a scarcely believable 40 wickets at 13.95. Until Shoaib can back up the self-promotional hype with similar figures – and that level of intense effort – tags of greatness aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on.
Look at our selectors… choosing the same openers over and over again and they do us favor by getting out in the same way over and over again. Thats greatness when it comes to being total failures.
You must criticise these players if you want to get something out of them. Put them to utter shame so they will perform. If you continue to worship them as superstars (just because one can throw a ball 100MPh  ), you are no worse failure than they are.
Ostracising them for damage done is not going to help. More embarrassing than team failure is the fickle nature of their fans.
Here in England you have football teams relegated from division to division yet the fans turn out in their hordes to watch them go down down and under. Why do we change at the slightest upset in performance.
I guess i'm an optimist...but i'll keep faith in these and one day we'll be back. Have patience my friends.

DD not quite true, have you seen how fans and press behaves when England lose football matches. I think we dont even come close to that sort of behaviour.
I have read the comments above with interest and while there is no need to go overboard after this defeat, there is certainly a need to analyse the reasons for such performances and inconsistencies.
Someone raised a very valid point about fitness. Apart from the now customary "I will breakdown whenever I feel like" attitude from Shoaib we have, Moin, Razzaq, Shabbir, Umar Gul and Asim Kamal injured as well. This really is not on.
Compae both teams.....Pakistani is newexperienced team emerged after the world cup yet they were facing strong opponents like indians who have great amount of exp under their belts and still pakistanis put great perofrmance so far. yet the game is not over yet. But may the better team wins:D
Ehsan Bhai and DD. All this yummy yummy attitude will not help us improve. Just take one example of Sami.
Whats the problem with this guy? He has been off color since NZ tour. He was phentified badly there and is still getting hammered by Indians. I mean come on, one off game is OK, two is acceptable, but in the whole series he just managed to perform in one ODI. What the heck's he been eating lately? ghaaaaaaaaaaaaaans!
Come on, you are an international cricketer. You should know how to penetrate.
I heard that, Shoaib had injury in his left hand (not the bowling hand) and the shehanshah akbar decided to not to show up today at all. Beside, he was OK with the hand today, he is complaining problem in his back. Which looks like a drama. These kinds of attitude will not win you matches.
excellent points, bitter. but I guess the knives only come out when the team loses. not that I haven't done the same thing as well. :)

Wrong Sir! The criticism is made when the team plays badly.
Coming back to the poor performance, its the way they played. Cricket has become a very technical game now. Opponents study the weakness of the other team/players and come up with an answer.
India won because they plyed disciplined cricket. Look at how the openers got out, playing the same kind of shots. When the occassion demanded them to stay at the wicket, they were in a hurry to play the shots. Taufiq Umar got out in the same manner as in the first innings. I saw the coach explaining to him how to play, but if the moron doesn't listen he should be kicked out.
To sum up the match:-
Inzamam lost the match when he lost the toss.
Our much hyped match winning bowler is a coward. Anyone with some ghairat would have taken up the challenge of Ganguly when he said the they will pull the chain of the Rawalpindi Express. Remember he didn't want to play the 2nd match after he got the stick from the Indian batsmen. Now again when he got the stick he feigned injury and abandoned the team. We all saw that there was nothing in the stumble. He just touched the pitch with his left hand.
Most of the batsmen got out playing across the line of the ball. Taufiq did the same thing in the 2nd innings and Farhat played at a ball which was far away.
Yasser Hameed plays Ok but he is also getting out chasing a ball well outside the off stump. The Indians will do the same thing again. He'll play one or two shots to the boundry and get into 'phook'.
Yohanna is another coward. He is scared of Pathan.
Inzamam ??????
Last of all guys the series is being controlled by the Umpires. The wrong decisions are there for all to see.
In the first test we were at the receiving end and lost, in the second the Indians were on the receiving end and they lost. Now it seems that they have decided to make India win. Dravid got three decisions in his favor. Even the TV Umpire gave him not out when even a blind man could see that the ball had touched the bat. Not that the Indians actually need any favors from the Umpires the way our team is playing.
In the end nothing will be done, the same morons will continue to rule Pakistan Cricket.
I just hate to love this Pak-side ...... good to know i was away working the whole day not able to watch them spilling catches ...... also no able to watch the Umpires not giving out plumb LBW's & bat+pad catch against Dravid ...... I'm wondering how the biased bunch of ba*ds from cricinfo even mentioned that Dravids was out twice but not given by these bly ba**d gora umpires ...... and finally i'm glad to be not there (infront of TV or PC/Internet) to see a batting collapse and umpires helping all the remaining batsmen to show the way to the pavillion **with their highstandard umpiring ...... shame on u bads
as a pakistani supporter, i think this might be the last straw...we gave them many chances but they have proven unworthy of our support. i'm glad i didn't waste money on the useless World Cup but unfortunately wasted $200 on this one. khair it was historic. never more, i will never again waste a damn penny on cricket. it's fun to play, occasionally fun to watch but this love affair is over. other fans should consider boycotting pakistani cricket altogether, as our brothers and sisters obviously have by not attending the test matches at all.
