I never thought Dhoni to be test material. But he so much improved with his keeping. He is also very keen which is very essential for a keeper.

Congrats India, good bowling display by Pathan and RP was key to Indian success.
But i think next match Australia will crush India.

Congrats India, well played but yes in the end India gave away too much to Aussies, But finally, a subcontinent team has managed to win at WACA, :bhangra:

Congratulations to all Indian guppies. India thoroughly deserved this victory. History was against Australia. 400+ totals are rarely chaseable in the 4th innings. Pakistani cricketers can learn a lot from not just this series but also the last India v Australia series (which ended 1-1) about how to play test cricket in Australia, how not to get beaten inside 3 days! We are just never in the game mainly because our batsmen struggle to score even 300 in Australia. Infact Pakistan were bundled out for a mere 72 in the second innings the last time (2004) they played Australia at Perth.

India have shown that if you put enough runs on the board, you can put even the mighty Aussie batting line-up under pressure. They also became the first sub-continental team to beat Australia in a test at the WACA ground in Perth.

This I totally.....totally....do not agree with.
Au contraire, I will say that Aussies are still "head and shoulders" above India in their quality of Cricket. They play good solid attacking (almost automated/robotic) cricket no matter the match situation. India, on the other hand, remains a "good at flowing with the tide" team....seldom do I see them recover strongly from a precarious situation.
India's famed Big 3 did zilch when it was most needed (in the 2nd innings)....but look at the Aussies 2nd innings score-card...every body (Ponting/Hussey/Clarke) contributed....Symonds of course was done in by the Umpire. Even their tail-enders (Johnson/Clarke) were toying with the Indian bowling attack.
The Indians have performed well in this tour.....no doubt...and I am delighted as much as the next Indian that we won.....but lets not lose sight of reason here.

Alright I did go a bit too far to saying Aussies are not a better team in general. Yes they are a better team, though they have come down from their peak and Indians have moved up from their sedate levels.

India played well and they were better team in THIS test match. Winning one test doesn't make them the world's best.
Anyway, enjoy the victory. Well deserved win. I'm just happy Aussies streak came to an end at last.
Let the indian media go berserk. :)
