in the Indian sub-continent, a new technology is misused extensively. video fone facility will make young generation go bonkers and don't be surprised when midnight calls will be coming/going to wrong numbers and those receivers of these calls instead of hanging up will continue to engage in lewd talks while the parents think their children are sound asleep/studying in the next room.
this is happening right now with cell fones. you have to see a little farther. right?
Do we have the percentage of people abusing the technology or is it everyone doing that? I understand the misuse of cell phones but how many people do you see on GS video chat everyday? Wouldnt it be around the same thing?

Not really. I use to have a cell phone along with my friends and cousins but I have never heard about people abusing it to talk to opposite gender

oops! i just realized that this thread was in CIT sub-forum. i thought OP wanted to discuss the social ramifications of Pakistan having 3G and 4G fones.
Are they giving away 3g/4g at the same price as before or you have to pay more for it ? . . . Here in US when T-Mobile switched to LTE couple of months back, it was just a change on their end, we didn't have to pay anything more for it .
