Yeah they do, but I’d like to think that’s the older generation who make a bigger fuss of it.
I know a lot of girls who are 30ish who get married later because they’re not in a hurry - in this day and age, our priorities are slightly different. Yes it’s better Islamically to get married earlier, but I dislike the whole palaver and expiry-date attitude that comes with a girl’s age.
