30 year old Pakistani women

Apart from the routine discrimination in the rishta scene, which is no secret, what is the fate of our Pakistani women who are now in their 30’s, age gone in studies and work, who are now out there looking to make a family? Are we going to see an increasing number of spinsters in our community, and where will these women go when they get old?

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

There was this old lady that passed away in her apartment. Neighbours found out 2 days later.

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

Pakistani? That's sad. No one to help take care of her?

No woman should have to do that. I wonder whether we're going to have to be forming some sort of network in the future for women like this who will in their elderly age, be alone without kids to look after them.

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

in sing songy voice* Looks like someone skipped their wheeeeaaaties this mooorning.*

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

Not Pakistani. She worked, but one fine day she didn't come to work. People found out days later.

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

What has become of you? You used to be mature and responsible.

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

Nothing... they become work robots....and act pissy all the time...oh..and some of them try to act like 20 year olds with excessive make up and pretending to be 'chirpy' and what not............ usually laughing stock for a lot of people.......

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

no, don't call it make up. Call it paint.

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

They have to do that because men don't want to look at their sagging skin or wrinkles, and men would rather look at, I mean, HIRE, younger girls. The issue of gender discrimination and agism at the work place is a totally different topic. Keep laughing at them, but if they have no other way to feed themselves and they're in it for the long haul on their own, and they HAVE to wear the make-up otherwise they are viewed poorly at their jobs, then that's what they have to do.

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

Maybe you know as a "muslim man" in the month of holy Ramadan, you can go marry one of these ladies out of "charity" and put her out of her misery.

sarcastic pissy look

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

^hide the wrinkles for now and scare them at night when they have nowhere to run or hide.

IMVHO, they put on paint only because they THINK they look better with paint that without it.

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

I look better with the paint, for sure. It's fun. Color is fun. Don't hate on color.

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

Dang....this shahry kitty has got claws.

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

You know on one hand you are putting them as educated independant women who know how to stand on their feet, and in the same breath they should be sympathized with.

Maybe people should set their priorities. Study and work are important, but there is more in life than just that.
The focus should not be only on study and nothing else. Or only work and nothing else.
Learn to keep a balance in life.

I don't think there's any disaster in women being 30 and not married. Its all about the mindset, if they're happy to wait or pursue their career, good on em.
Hows it any worse than being 15 or 16 years old and getting married too early?

Whatever's in your kismet is already decided. No point stressing about it.

And if there are some spinsters, then its not the end of the world. It becomes a stigma when people start treating it like one.

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

^ :konfused: People DO treat it like one.

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

What's wrong with the 30year old women? I think she looks more mature, beautiful, well-groomed, decent and gorgeous!

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

30 year old Pakistani women may contact 30 year old Indian men...Indian men prefer Pakistani women! :D Theek? :p

Re: 30 year old Pakistani women

Well when they get to 30+ after spending years on their education and career, they realize that most men their age are getting married to younger girls. And the guys younger then them will get married to girls younger than them or around their age. So this creates a spinsterhood crisis, which is very much prevalent in the middle east e.g. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE.
