Since no one bothered posting about this I thought I’d do it. I was highly disturbed to hear this news.
These people were not only plotting for suicide attacks they also used some of the charity money on God knows what.
How were they caught?
There car was bugged and this is what they were talking about.
He said Mr Khalid said: “Nah, I’m just thinking… most likely it’ll be Handsworth (cemetery), if there’s a body left.”
Mr Naseer replied: “One thing, one thing, remember, once that once you done, it doesn’t matter where you get buried, innit.”
Mr Khalid and Mr Naseer also talked about the Small Heath area becoming a “little war zone”.
Mr Khalid was recorded saying: "This earth here ain’t ever be the same, how these people think that, all everyone’s gonna be merry merry kuffar (non-Muslims) are gonna come and eat and drink here, it’s not gonna happen, because after we’ve done, inshallah, yeah, after later on, yeah.
“These people are gonna be getting killed and that here, there’s gonna be little war zone, yeah,” he added.
Mr Khalid was heard to say “we’re dead by then”, adding “we’re probably out of here by next June, brother”.

**The court heard they also talked about being dead by the time a MOT certificate for a Volkwagen Passat ran out in June this year.

There seems to be something genuinely off about the Pakistani youth in England compared to the US. Why do English Pakistani youth so often get entangled in such things, yet we have not had similar problems among Pakistanis here in the US, at least not among those who grew up here. What is the difference? This is at least the third time im hearing of British Pakistanis getting caught this way, with a bug in their car.

Why do English Pakistani youth so often get entangled in such things, yet we have not had similar problems among Pakistanis here in the US, at least not among those who grew up here. i think they have been in the UK for several generations as compared to the folks in the US and also the fact that UK is more accommodating to the people of their colonies so as a result ALL kinds of people were admitted in the UK...people with different backgrounds. on top of that, Islam is more established there than it it was here in the US a decade ago...here, we are still busy in building mosques and schools while in the UK they have done all that and now they are involved in further consolidating their power base in politics and , unfortunately, in terrorism.
it's a matter of time before we start seeing similar things in the US which i pray that we never will, iA...it's NOT good for anyone!

They were brainwashed by some radical preacher from US, apparently. And didn't you hear about a Bengali American being arrested over terror plot in US few days ago? The presence of Al-Mahajroon in UK might be the reason for this but not sure???
I don't think modern education contributes much towards morality and values...we have seen some doctors and engineers going nuts too.

Majority of Pakistanis in US as well as in UK are hardworking and peaceful people. You don’t have to spew hatred against Pakistanis like that…that on a Pakistani forum.

Well like I said, im refering to PAKISTANIS who grew up in these respective countries. The Bengali kid, number one is not a pakistani, and two did not grow up here...
And if it were an American Pakistani that preached these guys into becoming terrorists, then why wasnt that same preacher able to convert the youth growing up in US in the same way?
I agree with education bit, but i was kidding about the education not teaching them to speak proper English , but only partly.

As I said, it could be due to the presence of political religious organizations in UK. Some are banned but they can operate under different/new names.

You dont want to admit it, but dont you think you have disproportionally greater number of Pakistanis in the UK getting involved in crime, and extremism?
Dont feel like we are singling you out, as Pakistanis, hearing such things about English Pakistanis isnt good news for anyone…
