You're not respecting your first wife by going after another woman. Period. Not in this day and age. If you're a sheep herder in Saudia Arabia, then maybe. But not in the modern world.

What you call a modern world is your own little duniya where if things are not going according to your personal wishes than its not acceptable
I am not into polygamy but I dont think that people who marry twice at the same time do it cause they lost respect for the first wife, maybe sometime, but it cannot be a general rule
