I know the pitch is benign and it is only day 1 yet but bad umpiring primarily cost us the first test (apart from poor application by the batsmen in the first innings ofcourse)

One of the two culprits in the first test, Englishman Ian Gould (other being Australian Steve Davis) is still officiating in this game but it just shows what big difference even one good (neutral in the real sense of the word) umpire (Simon Taufel) can make?

now after this stupid run out so early in the morning they should go out all guns blazing and bat for an hour or so like its a 20/20 and then try to bowl out SL twice
otherwise we are heading for an effing boring draw

So far, Rain is doing well!!! Srilankans should have changed the venue, no point in having test match in a location which is in middle of Monsoon!
