Well I wont jump into any conclusions. Don't forget we didnt bring full strength squad. . With the inclusion of Razzaq,wasim ,shaoib,Rashid latif and hoepfully Anwar it will be a totally different ball game. The good news is four of the batsmen are begining to find form. Even though they didnt play a long innings but showed some flashes of excellence by going after the bowlers with great ease. Youhana,Inzi,Younis khan and ofcourse our future WC young opener Taufiq Umer.All of them have performed decent in the test and odi.
We went with a a young and inexpereince team. If you look at our sqaud 5 out of 11 were inexperience and only one of them(taufiq) performed exceptional. I wasnt suprised with the outcome.
Waqar younis made a hugh mistake in the first test by goign with four bowlers when he a had luxury to take out a batsmen and add an extra strike bowler.
In the second test he didnt have much of a choice especially when razzaq was injured he couldnt afford to take out any other batsman for another fast bowler.
the worst thing about the Test Series was Waqar’s Captaincy and Saleem Elahi. Taufeeq Umer was by far the only bright spot on the team. Everyone else failed miserably. AAAAAahhhhhhhh…Thinking of Elahi makes me go maddddddddddddddddddd
