Well spit fire I kinda disgree about the decision. It wasnt a marginal call. Usually the LBw is not given when the ball is comings from the outside off stump unless it hits the pad rreally really close to the middle after outside off stump, but in this case not only it was coming from the outside off stump but also missing the off stump!
Anways he is out ! so no point crying over it :( Poor guy didnt even get his Half century . He was playing so well.
Taufiq is playing marvelous. he is smacking the ball all over the place! I see him opening with Saeed Anwar!

I don't agree with that statement. If it's a marginal call then by the laws of the game the benefit should go to the batsman. I've opened up a specific thread where I've laid out quite explicitly why Venkat's integrity has to be called into doubt.
Anyway, back to the game, faisal Iqbal looks quite shaky at the moment. His technique looks a bit loose.
The new ball's due pretty soon so I think that will be a big test of Faisal's abilities. Let's see how he does coz it's pretty make or break innings this one.

I AGREE...but that's what the cricinfo commentator say and i dunno y he is happy for south africa....

At least Elahi didn't chuck his wicket away like most of the rest. Let's see how he gets on 2nd time around. Some of these players didn't stand up very well here and they have a lot to prove. Taufeweq isn't even going to get a proper rest thanks to these idiots desperation to leave the batting crease.
