Re: 2nd T/20 Pak V SL
My simple Q is, Does Khalid Latif deserve to be in the T20I XI ahead of Hammad Azam?
The plain and simple answer is NO (I think most people would agree with me)
And what’s so special about Shakeel that he has been given his chance at the ripe (for wicket-keepers) age of 33?
7 games are probably not enough to judge someone’s skill but Latif averages 4.85 in T20Is so far!

Hammad certainly needs to improve his bowling but the few chances he’s got he’s shown a lot of promise with the bat incl. the vital knocks he played in the Asia Cup final and in one of the one-dayers vs England
Maybe he has an attitude problem and this doesn’t go down well with his teammates, but we just don’t know
One good result does not change the fact that there’re some pretty poor and questionable selections in all three formats
Asad Shafiq should have been selected in both ODI and T20I teams. You need atleast one good stabilizer in your side. Malik batted well today but he is just too inconsistent these days
Hammad Azam should have been picked for both limited-overs formats (and played in both T20Is)
Ahmed Shehzad should have been selected in both ODI and T20I squads regardless of the injury to Nasir Jamshed. He is the future of our batting
