ive already started making lists of the things i need and how im gona be doing it in my wedding book.
i have 6 close anties including my mum and i want all of them to hold out huge round beautifully decorated with flowers trays with 6 different things in it.
so far i have:
1st tray of chooriyan jus lots and lots of chooriyan
2nd with make up
3rd with mathai
4rth with fruit
5th with mehndi and oil
6th with nice body lotions and other stuff
by the way these arnt my ideas one o my friends suggested them and im jus thinking about it…do u guys have any other ideas wot can i put in trays apart from mathai (as im not gona be eating too much and most of the womans diet anyway)…and i dont want much fruit either…wot else can i have?..i dont have to have 6 trays wither…may be 4…but i need sum good stuff in it…wot can i have?
also i want it lots of candles so im having battery candkles everywhere for health and safety issues too…as well as they dont burn out.
im having a huge round tea pink stage with a full poster cloth touching the cieling.
and its gona be allll about flowers…flowers…flowers…
hmmmmmm…i want the mehndi plates to be decorated to the fullest and the most attractive ones…sumthing uniqe…wot can it be?..i got so many ideas duno where to start…AAAAAAAAAAAA

you can put flower jewellery i mean gajras, etc in one.. mehndi,ubtan,oil in one,bangles in third one and .. i dont get the idea behind make up and lotions in a tray on display at a function
If you don't like the mihtai, nor the fruits...do you like chocolate? I was totally against the idea of having to eat so much mihtai cuz I can't stand it. So instead my bro got me a box of godiva chocolates...and my mom and babhi cuz them up into small chunks and inserted really cute decorative toothpicks into them and placed them on a small decorated tray. So people came up and fed me chocolate bits and put mehndi/oil on me. We had a basket decorated very nicely and had it filled with assorted mihtai in one, and lots of laddus in the other one. Also are you giving out any party/wedding favors at your mehndi? if so you can place those all on a nice display table, and give them out at the end.
silly question but....i am like really confused....i am looking for differnt ideas as well....what do u with the makeup/fruit tray? is it just for decorations or you are gonna use it right there

i loved that tray…i have sumthing like that in my mind but only better, its gona be gold plates tray with huge fresh gerberas facing outwards and lots of battery candles…
the make up and girlie stuff will be jus for me to use later wen i get married. i wud have bote all that for myself. I jus wanted more ideas thats all summit different then always having the same methai and mehendi and oil…
Well I dont know so much but I have seen in many mehndi functions:
im not sure exactly but its badam,pista and that strong white thing i think its called reori or something that kind of thing which they have with mathai in mehndi.So istead of make up you can maybe try this..
my mehndi trays were something like that but a smaller version of it.. it also had confetti on the top… and intead of flowers around the tray we had some shinning stuff in red and golden…
