We had literally won the match but gave our victory to our opponents. Our foolishness, mistake or whatever the bottom line is india won. But i don't understand WHY they are so happy and chanting it to be their very succesful victory? I mean hello? Get a life. I thought atleast their celebs were educated people but i guess not? Is this what they call a crushing match? Bas yehi thi inki himat? They call themselves BEST TEAM but what kind of performance they put infront of us? It was nothing close to being world class or great. They looked to be playing in our homeground not their own, they were that confused.
I can understand the excitement for the indians that they won from us which they were not expecting but atleast dont lie that you guys did great. You already have the victory why need be a sour winner?

another gem from talat hussain. He said the way sachin played would have put some club level player on shame. according to him sachin should have walked back out of shame since he was dropped so many times.

Absolutely disappointed…bohat dil kharaab ho raha tha aur abhi bhi ho raha hai.
had sooooo many expectations from pak and was pretty confident that pak will win.
some mistakes costed us this match…those dropped catches…ahhhh…if we had didn’t have those dropped catches surley India’s total wouldnot have been near 260 something it would have been much lower…and surely not everything is going to be blamed on the fielding or the bowling there was no consistency in the batting either.
on the other hand i would congratulate misbah for his half century and being the saving grace for pakistan along with mohd hafeez. both of these boys played their part very well. specially misbah towards the end it was quite evident that how desperately wants to hit a six or a four.
and wahab riaz for his suberb bowling. excellent mashallah.

another thing i’ll say is that i am happy that we didnot loose with a margin…it was just 29 runs…though haar haar hoti hai chahe ek runs se ho ya sau runs se but allah ka shukar hai ke yeh beizzati wali haar nahi hai kyon jis hisaab se humari batting ho rahi thi mujhe lag raha tha ke hum shayad 100-150 hi bana sakain ge.
end per all i can say is “better luck next time pak” koi baat nahi inshallah agay matches main we will win. ameen sum ameen.

Yes respect is earned but no was expecting Indians to salute Afridi either. Afridi played at least seven other matches in two different countries and not once was he booed. Why was Mohali an exception? Not very hospitable, eh?

Take a lesson from your captain and be a graceful loser.
You were outplayed yesterday, so stop taking digs at the winning team. Your batting & fielding sucked, and your best bowler of the tournament (Umar Gul) was taken to the cleaners by Sehwag. Don't tell me you were hoping to win the WC with this kind of display in the field. Indians should be disappointed that we did not beat Pak by a bigger margin.
Patriotism is one thing, and stupidity quite another. Learn to distinguish between the two.
