I agree. This was the was worst crowd i have ever seen. From the Indian celebs to the politicians to the average lalloo. Hehe, never seen such wankers before.

I am proud of the crowd we had in mohali. it was the microcosm of the greater India. from film celebrities to the singers, common men to the politicians, sportsmen to the lallu, richest of the richest to the poor , people from the every religion every one was united for one cause and backing our team.
Our big politicians and god like movie stars were sitting in common crowd cheering the team.
Hotels in mohali and chandigarh were full and people were letting visitors to stay in their homes. There was no parking space in chandigarh airport due to the heavy influx of private planes. even the amritsar airport was full and denying flights.
I am also proud of your PM to accept the invitation and come over with a good sporting delegation. He looked like to have come in peace , there was not a drop of attitude in his actions.

but i agree with one point, crowd wasnt making as much noise as it should have been. bangalore crowd is much more lively

Yes respect is earned but no was expecting Indians to salute Afridi either. Afridi played at least seven other matches in two different countries and not once was he booed. Why was Mohali an exception? Not very hospitable, eh?

I am not saying that people should have saluted him.

But this was really pathetic yeah. Yehi tau baat hai, laakh chhupanay ki koshish karo, asliyat nikal hi ati hai baahir.
Not that Indians try to hide their hostile emotions, but atleast admit it then.

I doubt that, our players didnt give any political statement.
Believe me if it was legend like imran or wasim our crowd would have cheered for them. We admire players like them who have talent , dignity and grace.

Everyone is doing their bit to cheer up the Indian team for India vs Pakistan semi final match on Wednesday (30 March, 2011). While, Bollywood stars like Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta have taken a day off from their shooting schedules to support the Indian team, model Poonam Pandey, also an aspiring actress, said that she would go nude if the Indian team wins the World Cup match.

Poonam, who is the most downloaded model of the year and has posed as the cover girl for many popular calenders of this year, is a huge cricket fan and claims to be a die-hard supporter of the nation. She has vowed to strip for the Indian team in their dressing room if the team wins the World Cup.

Apart from this Poonam who models for lingerie like Larissa Riquelme of Paraguay and Luciana Salazar of Argentina, has also promised to strip for the Argentina Football team if they win the FIFA World Cup.

Poonam has also claimed to strip in front of the whole cricket stadium with the permission of BCCI and the law of India. She says that this is her way to support the Indian team and keep up their spirit for the match. She has also opened a fan page on Facebook to cheer the Indian team.

While, we wonder how her stripping will motivate the Indian team for giving their best at the World Cup match, you enjoy the most awaited action tomorrow.

LOL, not enough noise? Every time the crowd went totally silence, i knew that a wicket was taken by Pakistan. Baaqi tau they were quite noisy
