that is true too! was just analyzing in what ways. in other words:

1) Nehra wasn't in his usual generous mood
2) we didn't drop afridi
3) we didn't let the Pak tail wag
4) we did not screw up as badly in pp
5) Raina understood the 'run flow' framework and played accordingly

"this was the worst one day innings I have ever seen." Azhar Mehmood on Sky Sports talking about Misbah's inning. ummm may be not the worst but pretty close to it. So did Younis! Hafeez Bhai ka bekaar ka shot really wasn't necessary when he was looking so solid. This one is gonna sting in the heart for a few days. PS already congratulated India! :)

I won't blame Misbah entirely for the mess.. Hafeez got out at a very bad shot which was not needed.. and younis followed Hafeez's foot step... the shot selection by afirid could have turned the table.. anyway.. as it is said, Success and have many fathers, failure is orphan...

It's OK when you lose such things crystallise. Had India lost today they would have come up with many things as well.

Well we have to agree that Misbah did play bad today, we put too much pressure on the batsman on other end. Umar Akmal and Afridi could have played a more settled innings if Misbah could only nudge around for singles. And not taking powerplay was horrendous. But then thats a Pakistani team. Overall with such an inexperienced side, we did better than many other teams.

Its just amazing How Hafeez hasnt learnt to carry an innings after so many years. He is not Afridi. He has a great temprament, solid technique and he has all the ingredients yet he falls to too many soft dismissals.

You are entitled to your opinion, but having that signature of yours "Afridi is an idiot" gives a great dis-service to a man that was exemplary in his leadership and attitude today. Praise goes to Afridi the way he carried himself personality and poise wise. You can endorse Ian Chappal's rant as well because to me anybody who endorses Chappal's ideology is a much bigger IDIOT!

Wow. What a great win. We are proud of you Team India, we are proud O great Nation. You have shown to the world that when we determine to do something then nothing on earth or beyond can stop us. People said we have poor bowling, people said we have unreliable batting , people said whole lot of things. In the end we beat all the odds again and came out in flying colors.
1.2 billion people are ecstatic tonight. Its like holi, diwali and mardigras put together. Celebrations are endless.

Dude there is a difference when a jealous person calls his rival idiot and when your friend calls you one. Afridi did very well today but he makes a lot of mistakes, he is not a good tactician.

I agree. But I am hoping that he will learn from his mistakes. When he can put more pressure on new batsmen etc. He got everything going for him and only good can be expected of this team under him.

I agree, he keeps throwing his wicket away but its clear that pressure of semifinal got to every batsman even to the cool ones. A few dot balls and one could see them tensing up. Even Asad Shafiq who is a very cool customer played cut when the ball was not there to cut. Batting second was not easy for boys who havent played in such a high profile game, had Pakistan batted first, i think he would have played better.

I know you are all gona shoot me for this but did you guys not find anything shady about Misbah and Younis? Both dropped Sachin's catch and clearly blocked soooo many balls which obviously piled up runs and rest of the batsmen collapsed because of the pressure to chase those runs

And Misbah start TRYING to hit when Afridi left, Did he want all the limelight himself today :(

Sorry I am still in shock and all these question coming into my mind
