Can anyone tell me if we had no other option that bringing a spinner in for the last over? Where was Razzaq or any other Fast / Medium fast bowler?

we did have options, but what was guarantee that he wouldn't have been hit like Ajmal? There is always a possibility in hindsight. It was Afridi's own last over when he shorted two balls, that was dumb IMO.

Amazing performance by Hussey! Our team made us proud with their performance. Akmal brothers, Butt they were awesome!!! but in the end last two overs, Hussey was phenomenal!!!!!
Today I can proudly say that we did not lose it like we do, its Aussie (specially Hussey) who won it and stole it from us. We looked like winning for 38 overs! but thats T20 for you and thats aussie spirit for you :)
Hindsight is always Twenty20. Let's not forget that Ajmal also bowled the final over against South Africa but given how well Hussey was batting and striking the ball cleanly esp. on the leg side perhaps Aamir or Razzaq should have bowled that last over. I guess Afridi just never gave it a serious thought given how well Ajmal had been bowling before this game. He and the whole team (even we) never really thought that Hussey could belt sixes like that in the last over

Pakistanis just perhaps lower their guards in last 3 overs thinking 50 runs are impossible to get with 7 down.

This is our 12th consecutive defeat against australia this year including all formats
