Nah, I reckon we will be better off chasing. Bowl India out for a below par total, Indian bowlers are terrible at defending totals even if they are 300+ (as evidenced in matches against South Africa and England). We batted first against SL and our total wasn’t that competitive in the end, India would have chased that. We should do what’s been working for us the last two games.
Also my mind goes back to the 2003 world cup, we scored 273 and India barely broke a sweat chasing that against the likes of Wasim, Waqar and Shoaib. They have the same opening pair now as they had then.
