A masterclass from Ricky Ponting, his 30th one-day hundred, allowed Australia to recover from a wobbly 150 for 4 to post 260 on a pitch where the ball is taking sharp turn and stopping on the batsmen. Not for the first time this World Cup, Yuvraj Singh was India’s best bowler. There has not been much movement for the seamers. It will be interesting to see if the Australian fast bowlers get some under lights.

Well with that observation, Lee and Johnson’s fast pace will actually hit the bat at the right bounce and should be better for bowling…Australia doesn’t have the slow bowling options needs to contain batting…

Unless India implode or Aussies pull out some new bunnies from their hats, it should be a chase-able score..
