25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

South Africa ki jaan chordo ab mere bhai; they are hopeless chokers. Sri Lanka ki bandwagon pe charh jaao ab sab ke sab.

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

Okay is Hall or Lengeveldt injured that Kallis have to roll his ineffective arm over after over? or Smith has given up?

mai aisa hi hoon :snooty:

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

I don't know...why I always support the underdogs or the losing party...may be I have more fun in it...a challenge...already destined thing is boring...like a match fixed...

Now...everyone knows in the stadium...Aus is going to win...why they have to sit there...haaan...

Aus 71/2 off 16.0 overs...

PS: I try to get something out of nothing... :D

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

there should also be ICC ranking rules for match fixers, SA deserve to be on the top

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

SA losing is one good thing but what has made my heart go garden garden is the agony Barry Richards is suffering, serves him right, the biased so and so

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

lolz…:hehe:
you made me remember Uncle Sargam..

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

I think ICC should implement a new Rule for teams that go unbeaten in a WC and reach the final. They must have two of their top order batsmen batting with 1 arm tied behind their back. I guess it will make things a little more competitive then.
:D

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

The Cricinfo headline on its home page still says :
South Africa hit back after collapse

Did I miss something ? I mean the hitting back part ?

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

^ No it says:
Australia close in on final spot
for atleast 30 mins now...

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

^ Looks like I needed to clear the buffer.

But did the "hitting back by South Africa" happen at any point in this match. I don't think so.

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

I don't remember.
Aussies cruising home...Saffies rolling out the door.

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

Hayden out to Pollock, caught in the deep.
Aus 132/3 after 28 overs

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

Aus need 18 runs in 21 overs and 7 wickets in hand..

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

Aus on the verge of winning this match...

SA came into the field with a bad strategy and perception...had they played it cool...there might be a close contest...you never know...Aus might have lost...

SA lost their top order precious batsmen just for 27 runs...what a stupid strategy...

Morale: When you lose...play calm and quiet...wait for cashing your chances...

PS: In the final...I will support SL...so no surprises for the guppies...hmmmmmmm

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

Chokers! Now where are the shmucks who wanted to discard my legendary theory of how Saffies choke in World Cups.*

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

yep. What a horrible strategy. They should have tried to lose only 3-4 wickets for 27 runs and not 5. You can see what went wrong! Bravo.......

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

I dont consider South Africa as chockers

1992: The Weird rain delay rule stopped them from reaching the finals

1996: they chocked

1999: again terrible luck

2003: again terrible luck

2007: they chocked

A lot of teams can fall in this category

Re: 25 April - 2nd semi-final: Australia v South Africa

Are we gonna see any retirement news from Saffies camp ?
