Saying South Africa choked takes a lot away from what Australia did today. This is twice they have trashed, and I repeat trashed the best team in the world.
It was a total and complete annihilation.

Australia's demolition of South Africa reminded me of our own humiliation at their hands in 1999 World Cup Final. That was one brilliant, clinical and out of the top drawer performance from Australia who just seem to get better and better with each passing world cup.
Hope the final is not so one-sided. SLA's bowling is a lot more potent and varied (Murali, Vaas and Malinga) than SA's one-dimensional attack but for them to compete with Australia their batsmen will have to put on a decent score of 270+. I am not that confident about SLA chasing even 250 against Australia so perhaps they should bat first. But then even batting first against Australia is not easy as Pakistan and South Africa found out in their respective games
