On the basis of this hadith one cannot forget all of other requirements.
All it means that when you see a prostitute whom you have no way to preach or suggest better things,
you wish she does something good enough to go to jannat also. That's all.
One MAY expect but should not rely on these kind of exceptions of being forgiven and continue to do bad deeds.
Besides, who goes to jannah is not a decision from any of us.
Remember, jannat is not made by human. Whoever made it has the authority to let someone enter or not.
People just need to do what is right as it is advised and then wish for the best.
i was trying to ask you........those people who pick and choose islam........ they don't admit to doing it.........they 'explain' their behavior of picking and choosing things.......... what have u heard from such people in that 'explanation'??
ermm, I have never questioned such people in real life because I don’t really have the right to. If anything, people have questioned me and I know I didn’t like it when I was told I was “missing out”. So I wouldn’t question anyone else.
Online though, I have heard things like “you only get to live once” etc… In some moderate muslim debate show, Shahrukh Khan said it is better to be a good human being than to be a good muslim. He was obviously saving his arse by saying this for all the non-islamic things he has done. On a positive note, he has never hurt anyone so I don’t have a problem with his way of life, I have a problem with his likes making up pointless spiel.
The love is mutual
lol wanna hear another one of her analogies? She used to refer to us as “those lazy bunnies in the energizer battery ads who get left behind”
Good reference but its not a guarantee. One cannot be a prostitute and think that at the end she could quench the thirst of a dog and her sins will be forgiven.
there is something odd about laughing at others peoples idea of what will get them into heaven, especially for not agreeing with your point of view that is based solely on blind faith. i'd suggest you not worry about what others think is good for them, and concentrate on making sure you meet your own standards. (by you, i don't mean you bbq, just about anyone who wants to impose their standards of blind faith on others).

Ofcourse. The majority of us do that offline i.e. live and let live. But AV is a platform where we discuss all sorts of things and we cannot just end the debate by saying "to each their own". As long as we argue without dissing each other...
My lord has kept hope and wish in our bleakness – truth is just a reality with accuracy and perfection – it is not our friend. Either people are with it or they are against it.
The journey started from Ninawa , Babylon , mohenjo daro and Harappa is not yet completed . There are thousands of extinctive places on the face of this earth , but we have not learn a lesson out of their annihilation – instead we have made them the show pieces situated in our drawing rooms and happily call them antiques.
As a Muslim we should ponder over the fact – when civilizations grow it is considered as a Progress but when a Muslim grow out of his basic messages , he gets weak – as the law of Allah is never going to change . Even if the whole population of this world agree to change a ruling mentioned in his book – they will be unable to do so.
