i was trying to ask you…those people who pick and choose islam… they don’t admit to doing it…they ‘explain’ their behavior of picking and choosing things… what have u heard from such people in that ‘explanation’??

ermm, I have never questioned such people in real life because I don’t really have the right to. If anything, people have questioned me and I know I didn’t like it when I was told I was “missing out”. So I wouldn’t question anyone else.

Online though, I have heard things like “you only get to live once” etc… In some moderate muslim debate show, Shahrukh Khan said it is better to be a good human being than to be a good muslim. He was obviously saving his arse by saying this for all the non-islamic things he has done. On a positive note, he has never hurt anyone so I don’t have a problem with his way of life, I have a problem with his likes making up pointless spiel.
