i wont take any thng with me there except clothes..i will take money and buy thngs there which will be needed :)

I'm gettign married in March 2012 InshAllah - goign to Karachi in September to order my Baraat & Mehndi Outfit plus also need some for dholkis.. would be so grateful if anyone could advise me on what's the latest? I am looking for really heavy outfits............

So far i've designed my valima dress! and booked both baraat and valima venues. My MUA has pencilled me in for my wedding date and I just need to go for a trial with her. The baraat venue is covering both stage deco, venue deco and catering! All that is left is rings, mehndi stuff to be sorted. Mehndi artist to be found, transport confirmation of everything!

It's not finalised, but around March/April Inshallah. So your planning to go Pak for shopping? I thought that at first but all that money you spend on flights etc i would rather spend it on a few extra clothes or something.
Also, i know i would be getting a better service from the bridal shops i have been to and i will be getting my sort of dress (Sana Safinaz style).

Yeah there's still a lot to be done though plus my mum's going to pak for two months so all wedding stuff will be on hold!

congratulations all you brides to be! It is so much fun getting married lol, to me all you girls seem so innocent right now. I was at this stage few months ago too. Enjoy every moment of these days you girls I wish all of you a very very happy wedding. No matter what you wear and who does your makeup just feel good about yourself imagine that you are the best bride ever (be a little self obsessed on your big day) lol. Love to all you lovely brides

I have bought a couple of outfits, one from Prototype and one frm Je Roche. The rest, i think i'll pop down London to go Gul Mohar and might buy a couple more from Proto and then i dont know.
I don't think i need that many, probably more casual clothes because i hardly have any that i wear around the house. I think i'm supossed to wear them after i get married? :s
