i have been searching for bridal pics and saving them making folders for like 2 years...as i got engaged in 2010.... since then i have been searching...but i believe..the more u search the more u get confused.... i have ordered my lehnga and dupatta for baraat...i have choosen stuff myself..get it dyed myself.....i am not at all in favour of designer joras... waste of money... i design on my own as well.... so i too the task to my ownself....

my baraat dupatta is in deep red color...dull shafoon stuff... lehnga is in jamawar shafoon...just slightly below the knees the jamawar print is dotted... and then it would be rich jamawar print in gold...color of both jamawars on lehnga is skin gold....

well my initial rate for my bridal dress was somehow between 30,000 to 40,000...then i increased it to 50,000... but guess what i have ordered the lehnga and dupatta..and it makes 56000 (kaam and stitching) ..excluding stuff and dying price... shirt is yet to be selected ordered and stitched... i ll get my shirt in an a-line shape most probably... it dyed in tomato red dull shafoon and self shafoon...i have got panels in different stuff but same color..style is somehow in my mind..kaam not finalized..will survey liberty bazarr again and again...and will select some stylish shirt kaam in matte gold and antique combo..my lehnga kaam is also dull gold and antique combo...2 different borders...i copied the style from MAria b's dress... but i dont believe on copying the kaam of the pics because i am not sure if kaarigar will be doing it that way or not...so i preffered to choose and mix and match the kaam which kaarigar had already done and which was in front of me....
GIRLS,, believe u me it took me ages to make folders and selecting pics...bt by the end , i selected something different.... it stressed me out hell a lot...but i m feeling relaxed that at least i am done with it... although wedding is in oct.. but i dont mind getting my bridals ready 2-3 months before wedding... because it gives u a lot of stress... PLEASE do pray that by the end the dress turns out to be reall kool....AMEEn...

well regarding makeup...i have made up my mind almost 80% that i am going to mariam khawaja for both days IA...

and please doooooooooooooo give me suggestions for my walima dress...i am so damn interested in off white color...but i want to make its contrast with some bright color in a sensable way...i dont want lehnga or gharara primarily on walima...i m planning to have long foot length maxii and an open gown over it..done in a very stylish way...do share if u have some pics in ur collection too...

ninnaa..u can go for offwhite and gold/purple/pink/green...even offwhite by itself with silver kaam naqsh and stone work will look AMAZINGGG!
i kept a folder full of pics myself..but i found it useless..i got something totally different too!;)oh and i wish we had someone like mariam khwaja in islamabad..lucky u!

Im so confused! Ive saved so many pictures from the internet (spending soo much time), but everyones' saying you'll get a better idea when you go to Karachi!
I have to get my wedding dress and mehndi dress.
All the other stuff ill get when i come back from pak!

I agree with ninna instead of designerz bridal wear u habe to design ur own n wish everybody get the best net result my wedding is in nov n i m going back to pak in oct probably start week not have enought time but ALLAH PAK kram krna wala ha INSHALLAH TALA khariyat se ho jain.
