I have around 2 months. My bridals have been ordered but I dont have them yet. I have all my other jora's and accesories...We have venues, except for the mehndi. The biggest stress factor is we have no invitations, my mom n sis dont know what theyre wearing, my dad needs to renew his passport & we have yet to book our tix!!! all that and my fluctuating weight and stressful job!!! eeeek

We're in the same boat. No clothes yet! My dress should arrive in a month or so, but other then my bridal. My other dresses aren;t here either. I am so sick and tired of school!! July seemed so far, and now it's only 3-4 months away
You are sick of school... and I'm sick of work!!!! Is it just me or do you not even feel like you have a wedding coming up sometimes? Because that is how I feel.
And yes... it seemed so far away....and its crazy how close its getting! eeeeeekkkkkkkkk

Aweee I feel like I can relate with you on ALOT of things. My bridals have been ordered... just dont have them. Like you - I have all of my other jora's and matching accessories.... have venues ...picked the place for catering..havnt finalized menu. Havn't finalized brunch menu. Havn't ordered the cake. Havn't tasted cake. We ordered invitations and then had to get them redone because they did not come out the way we wanted them too! They have not come in yet... NO ONE IN MY FAMILY knows what they are wearing. But the color has been chosen: Purple. haha. On the upside - all of my relatives and friends have already gotten their clothes and figuring out what they are wearing to all the events. Just not my own family members.
My job is soooo stressful too. I usually have really good skin and now I am getting the occasional pimple! noooooo. I am trying to eat healthier and am going to the gym regularly. Something I never do because I want to GAIN weight. Except problem is that after measurements were given, I DID GAIN WEIGHT. And my bridals are near completed. So I need to go back to my original measurements. I'm not used to eating healthy OR going to the gym... this is sooooooo strange for me! :( I am too thin....

on the upside- everyone check out this months bridal contestants on gupshup. I am one of them! hehe. I mixed in real elements from my wedding with dream aspects. I hope you all enjoy the choices I made for each event......

My shaadi is early July .... that is basically 3 months away.... full blown freak out mode has begun........
The big details have basically been taken care of (minus my dresses... !!!!!!!!!! Baraat lehnga will be shipped soon and Walima is still in process of being made!!)
But all the little details still need to be figured out :( I am not even living in the same state as my family so this has been horrible to plan. I am really hoping everything manages to get pulled together by the time shaadi happens......

I completely understand where ur coming from. My wedding is in about 2 and a half months (June 10th will be nikkah, june 15th mehndi, 17th baraat, and 18th waalima to be exact) but the only big detail out of the way is basically the hall and photographer. But the photographer was picked without even looking at his profile so idk wht I have been tangled up in. Nothing is done! I am completely freaking out and I can not do much.... My mom keeps going out of town. Nobody listens to me. Cards arent even ordered yet. No MUA either. No baraat or waalima outfit either.. no where near finalizing the small details.
ARGHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh have so much too do. Plus I am dying in school. Basically can not even focus or go to sleep!!

my weight is gone over the roof due to stressful eating. I am constantly shoving any piece of junk food down my throat to keep me calm.. So on my wedding day, I will look like a baby elephant!!

Yes, I am feeling that too. I don't feel like getting married and the more I do for this wedding the more I wish it wasn't mine. I want to enjoy the day, I want to be the person who sees all these little details and enjoys the day, not the one who sits on the stage and smiles!
I've never had pimples since I was 15ish and now out of no where, they're popping up on my skin! I am stressed, can't for this to me over.

hehehe I can so understand ur ladies, my wedding is in mid july and I am also loosing my mind. The only thing done so far is the halls being booked. I have not even ordered my dress... and geez but I am plannin to wrap most of the stuff in april n may, not keeping any stuff for june so I can relaxxxxxxxx and forget abt this stressful time.
I think u guys shud plan in such way tht u get atleast fifteen days off relaxing at home. Try to get everything done now. specially the things tht require ur attention like making clothes n gettn them stitched.

I chose mine and no one has seen it yet because it's not even here. My in-laws were not involved with the dress process. Us girls are never happy :P
I see girls here complaining about their MIL's and in-laws for their involvement in their wedding and ruining things, and here's me whose always complaining that her in-laws don't care about her wedding and don't help

I am trying to wrap things up so that I can spend atleast a month at home before the wedding… unfortunately I think that month will be spent planning and organizing for the wedding tho! :hinna:
I designed both of my outfits and am working with a wonderfully kind designer who is making my visions come to life…
And yes… there was some drama over outfits. But to me… at the end of the day.. it is just outfits… so I did not understand the point of the drama.

i picked out my own wedding outfit and my inlaws did not even see it and still dont know what have i ordered! but they have no problem at all instead they are very excited about it :)) but they will pick the rest of my outfits with me otherwise there wont be anything left to do for them.

and you know what no matter how much planning and organising you keep do ahead of time...even at the last moment you are rushing off to the bazaar to get something you had missed ;)

8 days to mehndi and 10 to shadi inshallah! Very excited now, but so tired am scared not going to look fresh. On the upside, leaving for Lahore early tomorrow iA...still at work today haha!
Can so relate to others who said feels too 'normal' to be at work/school, and yet when home it gets so mental. Am sure we're all going to look back at this time and smile :)

I was asking bout the bridal clothes, because I chose mine and am getting them made...my MIL didnt seem to have issues but I dont understand why my SIL has em! I mean, shes been married for a decade now, so obviously things have changed. grrr...I just know that after the wedding, w/e few days Ill be there will be spent in silent struggle. LOL wear the kapray I got you, not the ones you got!
