I never knew at the start of 2010 that I'd be a 2010 bride, but inshaAllah I'm going to be...:)
Havent decided anything yet...i.e. bridal dress, photographer, make up artist...and the wedding is going to be in October inshaAllah!
Need suggestions and advice on all these things, so would be more active in the coming days inshaAllah :)

im not a 2010 bride..but a 2011 bride!im getting married on the 2nd april next year inshallah..im soo excited but sooooooooooooooooo nervous at the same tym..hope everythin goes the way we plan it xxx

Ohh sweety..any cloth in the dress..? maybe you can get it taken out? or you could try doing some exercise...if its your stomach then try skipping for 15 min per day..it will help

so i ll be gettin married in june/july of 2011 and um i havent done anything yet...when should i be ordering a dress and prepping for everything? i duno anyone whos gotten married recently so i need all the pointers i can get...HELP!!!

^ my wedding is on Dec 25th and my wedding outfit has not been ordered yet.
I'm stressed out about a million things:
- moving to Pakistan from Canada
- i haven't packed my things yet
- will i be able to get along wit my MIL and FIL
- will my fiance be the same loving, caring and understanding person after marriage
- will i be able to adjust to living in Pakistan
- will i be able to understand Pakistani mentality
- i don't want to pick up bad habits like gossiping about others etc.
my list can go on forever but the most important part i don't want to think about is if i'll be able to live there without my mom. although i'm not so close as my sisters r in terms of sharing their personal lives and feelings with her but i usually ditch my friends and siblings to stay back wit my mom so that she's not alone and bored. Im sure my dad and brother will take care of her wen i'm gone but i'll still be worried.

@ankhan88: You still have ALOT of time girl so relax:) Although i think you should start looking around for the kind of bridal jora you want (i.e. collect pictures, go through gs wedding threads) and make a list of color combinations for your various joras. Also, how many of them would you be needing (of each style, formals/semi formals/casuals), the number of shoes, bags, a list of makeup and accessories. Start browsing and looking around for makeup artists and photographers...
I suggest you dont get started on the kaam or getting anything stitched yet cuz the designs/styles might change. But you can start purchasing fabric and jewellery (cuz both are getting more expensive by the day!)

Im one and i think im pretty chilled about the whole scenario:p (probably because my Nikkah was done a couple of months ago). Im getting married in Dec- joras have been ordered but still need to do alot of things such has bags/clutches, nightwear, decor and stages! suggestions and help is highly needed! Im based in Karachi

I'm getting married end of December...and starting to really panic now!!!! Even after going through everything on this forum I'm extremely indecisive about everything, from what I want to wear to who to choose for makeup/photography. There's just sooo much variety for everything and so many different things you can do...I'm scared to make the wrong decison and regret it for the rest of my life! So much pressure to get everything perfect! Going to Lahore next week though so hopefully will start getting things done!
