Sweety it really doesnt matter that you guys cant have the most lavish wedding due to money..bcos people will understand due to your parents passing..but Ive been to the most simple weddings and they have been the most beautiful! Aslong as you have your family and friends thats all that matters..
For example of the mendhi you can keep that simple and pretty..with making your own cute deco.. there are so many ideas on this forum and if you need any help Im sure we would be more than happy to help..On my mendhi I have collected bits whereever I find it at a reasonable price or on the net!!
Also I went to one wedding the stage was soo beautiful what they done was basically behind the seats was a wooden frame…you know you see them in the olden days and women get dressed behind it.. and plain white floor and red rose petals scattered on the floor..simple but beautiful!!
