In 2003 model, I find the tail lights of the 2 door coupe, much better than the 4 door. This is the same story, like in the present Civic.

As for the styling, well, that's a subjective matter and you know what you like. Overheard from various journalists attending the introduction of the Accord: "It looks like a Peugeot at the front"; "I see an Alfa Romeo influence at the rear"; and our favorite, "The front end looks like a Kia Rio." Our take? The front and rear styling of the sedan is not a success. The front is too plain, appearing more downmarket than a Honda Civic, which has a proper grille with chrome detailing. The rear, with the upturned, wraparound taillights, looks angry. Think of a person with a monobrow who is scowling. Fender bulges, a high roof and a tall rear deck make the car look fat and slab-sided. Want to see a beautiful mainstream Japanese sedan? Look at the 2003 Mazda 6. The Accord coupe is better executed, suffering only from thick thighs. Also overheard, with regard to the coupe: "If you drink a couple of beers and look at it from the back, you might think it's the new Mercedes CLK."
The accord sorta reminds me of SATURN. Im not falling in love with it…but it sure beats the stupid new camry.

sweet car! my family is an accord addict. me 3 brothers have accords each and i might end up with one too.
this new one's rear has a sorta lexusy look to it. funny enough i saw a picture of a 2003 accord in car & driver magazine and that one has a totally different rear. ill scan the pic and upload it in a while. maybe theyre releasing different models in different locations. or it could be the trend of having a totally different rear for the 2 door version.
ok i just checked honda’s website. the one i was talkin about is the accord coupe

These japs get a totally new face lift every year. They might aswell give them a new name, its no use keep using the same name when the car itself is totally changed to its predecessor.
And like Faisal also wrote.. They look like a combination of a whole lot of different other cars, but never have a charachter of their own.
same goes for the interior. Boring plastic feel dashboard..

But I don't see anything special in that thing ;)
You like it now coz its new, after some time it will look ordinary. Just like most other japs.
