Lahore :
A 200-member delegation from Pakistan will be leaving for Israel on a 15-day visit soon after the Eid-Al-Fitr in November.

According to well-placed diplomatic sources, the delegation, comprising retired generals, bureaucrats, intellectuals, politicians, religious leaders, businessmen, industrialists and journalists, would call on Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom.

The sources said the delegates would also meet the chairman of Israel’s Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

hell to all of them...reallymuslims world leaders dont represent muslims anyway...
i hope hammas have some good plans for them...all of these secular roshan khayal muslims should be shift to their holy land "israel"...and their holy prophet sharon will give them faiz everyday...

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

This is an excellent idea, there should be more of these exchanges between people. Furthermore, Pakistan should allow Israelis to enter Pakistan for tourism.

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

Pakistan was established as a state one year before Israel..
so both countries have had about the same time to evolve

big difference,

wonder why?

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

GD,support peace...hahahahaha...yaar seriously tell me how much callous beast we muslims have become...
roshan khayal muslims like us say "ok we accept tht palestine people have lost their houses, identity, religious freedom, children and they r alone as they face the terrorism by israel but still organisations like hammas r terrorists...."

oh come on man....how much senseless we people have become...if i have to pass through such conditions,i will go all out to destroy israel and its citizen...organisations like hammas r the symbol of frustration and nation struggle, not of terrorism...
if they r terrorists then y majority of palestine people support them??...think again and again....i m telling u,it hurts when a muslim comes up something tht i expect from kafir...

parha likha westernize "insan" cannot understand tht...thts y i say tht west is beast

and wht we muslims do,make contacts with illegal state like israel who is the biggest enemy of islam, muslims and pakistan...huh...simply idiotic

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

How can u support peace by supporting the opressors?

And the timing if the visit is very very bad indeed. Pakistanis should support the people who are helping thm in this time of need, that is Arabs and not the fugking jews

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

 well said what idiots support the terrorist squatter israelis after what they have done and continue to do today to the muslims of palestine!

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

Hamas is the Muslim Brotherhood, illegal terrorist orginization in Egypt, ALgeria and

you like hamas, you like the Taliban?

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

‘palestine’ was part of Ottoman Empire…not arab, not ‘palestinian’…It was southern Syria

the Moslem arabs got all of the Ottoman Empire , 22 countries, over one million square miles,

when this empire was abandoned by Turkey…and the Jews…

who predated moslams in Israel and Samaria by 2 thousand years, got only Israel

less than 8,000 square miles

this is about muslim hatred of Jews, this is not about territory

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

gimme a break

the arabs in the disputed territories have the highest standard of living, of any arab country…

without oil

more universities, women can vote, honor killings are punished seriously etc

all universities in disputed territories were created during Israeli occupation

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

We talking about occupied palestine dimwit! try again

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

stop calling me names

you are arguing from a political bias... based on the idea of the ummah

the Turks lost this land and the victory took the spoils...gave 1,000,000 square miles to muslim arabs

8,000 sqare miles to the Jews

Jews have more right to 'palestine/Israel/Judea and Samaria than all moslams put together

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

even mohammed knew Jerusalem, the Beis Hamaqdis is the qibla of the Jews

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

these ARE the arabs in the disputed territories

http://hdr.undp.org/statistics/data/country_fact_sheets/cty_fs_PSE.html

The HDI measures the average progress of a country in human development. Human Development Report 1997 introduced the human poverty index (HPI), which focuses on the proportion of people below a threshold level in basic dimensions of human development - living a long and healthy life, having access to education, and a decent standard of living, much as the poverty headcount measures the proportion of people below a certain income level. The HPI-1 measures human poverty in developing countries.

· The HPI-1 value for Occupied Palestinian Territories, 6.5%, ranks 7th among 103 developing countries for which the index has been calculated.

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

http://www.undp.org/hdr2003/indicator/indic_16_3_2.html

the UN Human Development report ranks the disputed palestine territories at 98th

well above PAKISTAN at 144 out of 175 countries

thats how bad the arab have it in the disputed territories

LOL

maybe the Israelis should occupy Pakistan to improve the living conditions of the Pakistani people

Re: 200 citizens on 15-day visit to Israel

The Jews bought the land during the Ottoman Era. Buying land did not imply creating a nation. The Ottomans simply wouldn’t allow that…it’s akin to me going down to Texas, buying up land and declaring picoicoistan…

Palestine is a term used to refer to the Arabs that lived in the area that was being colonized by the Zionists. Zionism itself was an import from Europe, and it was the European immigrations to Palestine (the ottoman territory) that led to this silly notion of Jewish statehood.

WWI was just a conincidence…the Zionists would have declared statehood anyway…their intension was not good to start with.

More than anything, it was their terrorist campaign which swayed the British to hear their cause…what goes around comes around.
