All such measures are meaningless unless they include the occupied territories and those in the Palestinian refugee camps.
If one would look at the same indices but restrict it to Islamabad, Pakistan would have a much better appearance.

Why do you love drag Islam and Pakistan into the whole equation? Most of the arabs and indeed many Palestinians I've met see it as a secular conflict, which is purely driven by the level of poverty in Palestine against the huge prosperity on the Israeli side. The Arabs who're directly involved in the conflict frankly dont give a f*** whether people from Gambia or Pakistan support 'em or not -- they're good enough for themselves, with their dysfunctional Arab League to spew out their emotions about Israel. Go watch the film* Paradise Now* which is just out in theatres, and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Arabs betrayed Turks and fought against Turks with English. So what happened then ? You know rest, English let Jews settle in Palestine and let them to build Israel. This is the truth. In 1892 the Ottoman government forbode the selling of land to forieng Jews in Palestine.
In 1893, European governments pressure the Ottomans to lift the law, under the proviso that they not establish colonies in the lands they buy.
Needless to say, in the following years they did just that.

This is really disgusting, Zionists offered tons of gold to Ottomans to let Jews settle in Palestine. This offer was rejected though Ottomans were really in a bad financial situation. Do you know that Zionist gave huge amount of both material and military help to British during British-Ottoman war (like Arabs did) . Forget my problem, I know you definitely have one – that of not being able to deal with facts. Why is this whole conflict being tainted with religous fervour when in actuality it is a totally poverty-driven secular one? Aside from the few present day militant Jihadi groups, the Palestinians have HISTORICALLY been secular have never been in history known for their association with Islam. Why do you guys want to drag in Pak? Don’t we have enough wars to fight on our own soil – those against illiteracy, poverty and massive corruption?? Are those issues less important than this Arab/Israeli war or are they somehow linked with the Mid east conflict?? And would the Arab masses and leadership be willing to back you as strongly on Kashmir?? – Well, you all should know that OIC wanted India in, the only obstacle was the Pak opposition. So there! That is absolutely true, and something which I’ve said in my earlier posts. They truly deserve what they got.
The sad bit is that the Pakistani masses don’t have an iota of an idea of the history behind the whole situation. They’re just brainwashed into buying this “Islamic conflict” theory, I mean I didn’t know what *actually *happened until a few years back!

It was worse than mere betrayal of the Turks.
The arabs sided with the enemies of Islam, in a war that was a jihad, a Jihad declared by none other than the Khalifa himself, the true representative of Allah SWT on Earth. No matter how bad the treatment the arabs received from the Turks previously was, nothing justified the arab treachery. Indeed it would have been far better if every single arab who took up arms against the Khalif had died rather than emerged victorious.
The arabs sided with the enemies of Islam against Islam, and in return the arabs gained a Zionist cancer in their midst.
Of course, the present generation of arabs bears no responsibility for the actions of their forefathers. Islam does not teach that one generation bears the sins of the previous one.
