the title of this post is 20 terrorists, not 20 suspected terrorists, the title of the post assumes they are terrorists my response is with the assumption that they are terrorists, if they are not then it does not hold true. Your asusmption is that they were all making popcorn there, whatever.

who the hell cares whether pashtoons accept durand line or not.
if your argument is that they dont accept durand line so its okay for them to go in afghanistan and launch attacks then by the same token US attacking them in the tribal belt should be okay too, either you support territorial soveregnty or not.

so then NATO forces kicking your arse is totally right too, its a war.

They were not taleban. they were many fighters including non pashtuns...and non taleban pashtuns. you may want to polish up on your history just a little bit.

No surprise, as usual you don't know the background and context of the Mazar-e-sharif massacre...go read Ahmed Rashid's "Taliban" and you will know what happened before the massacre...it was the hazaras who massacred Taliban's first after Taliban had taken over Mazar, but were small in numbers...eye for eye, tooth for a tooth...

You know the fact that you seem to know me so well is pretty darn amazing. and lol i never cheer BB or anyone doing the killing. Please quote me where i seemed to have projected this image. However i do have a question for you if some crazy nut job self ascribed and what not mullah is idiotic enough to cheer such on going would you think that its alright to bomb the lot of mullahs on planet? The initial post gave me that impression. If the law enforcement was in there making arrest then people would think atleast twice (i hope) before bombing the place. And bombing is just not an option in a scenario like this. There are thousand of ways to stop the production of illegal weapons and bombs. You dont kaboom the entire neighbour hood. This is just so inhumane beyond belief.

The guy who just died [dadullah] was famous for his cruel massacre of hazaras in eastern afghanistan and even taliban knew that and made him commander of a militia to mock rivals. The afghans have always been like that. The hazaras that are in quetta came to in large numbers because the king in afghanistan [amanullah] stripped them of their land and ruthlessly suppressed them. But I still find many here on this forum that overlook that for it afghans / pashtuns are some holy cows.

As for these tribals, they don’t like to listen to Pakistan and make their own laws so if they really have pakhtunwalli, they should “blood to blood” with the americans / NATO across the border. But probably their own tribals will have sold them out even if their are nutcases willing to take it to the US.. :omg:

the point was simple, people tried to prove me wrong..and thus spoke up against govt apparatus killing and impacting innocent people. so then when we refer back to govt machinery killing and impacting innocent ppl back in the 90s .. the principle stands. However some people were okay with that operation. My point is simple..be consistent. abhor this action..abhor other actions like it. abhor any innocent person being killed..whether it is some pashtoon in the tribal belt, some iraqi in baghdad, some karachite in karachi, some londoner in London,or some israeli in tel aviv

hardly anyone is talking about what these people did or were going to do because nobody seems to know for sure.its all hear say. as i said killing suspects is wrong. even killing murderers in this manner is not a state action/if state fails to set an example what prizes the nutty individuals?

Foreign fire kills 10 in Waziristan

MIRANSHAH: Ten civilians were killed on Saturday inside North Waziristan in a mortar attack from Afghanistan by foreign forces, a military spokesman and tribal sources said.

“Ten innocent people were reported killed when some mortars hit civilians in Mangroti village in the Shawal region,” military spokesman Maj-Gen Waheed Arshad told Daily Times by phone from Rawalpindi. Thirteen others were injured in the fire, he added.

However, locals put the death toll at 20. One report said that the mortar struck a home, while another said a restaurant was hit. Local residents said the dead included a child, a woman and seven men, all from the same family. “Pakistan has lodged a strong protest with coalition forces seeking an explanation,” Gen Arshad said, adding that the killing of civilians was not intentional. He agreed that such attacks that killed civilians could lessen support for the government for operations against wanted militants.

NWFP Governor Ali Jan Orakzai recently warned tribal people of the danger that they would be attacked from across the border if militants continued to shelter foreigners and kept attacking inside Afghanistan.

Agencies add: Residents of the Shawal area of North Waziristan said fighting had spilled over from Afghanistan late on Friday and 20 people had been killed. Residents described the dead as nomads. “We have recovered 20 bodies including six members of a family,” said Wali Mohammad Jhangikhel.

Meanwhile, according to a private TV channel, coalition fighter planes pounded Angoor Ada in South Waziristan, destroying more than 15 houses. Local residents and witnesses talking to BBC reported that a US gunship helicopter fired several rockets on a small hotel on the night between Friday and Saturday at about 3:00 am, killing at least 12 people and destroying the hotel, houses and vehicles parked in nearby areas.
