....... I would not call this a "faked" encounter prima-facie, ....... I would not point fingers at Pak unless the UP ATS comes up with some more proof.
This is fair.
On another note, we all must realize that BOTH Indians and Pakistanis have miserably failed to notice the HUGE changes in the geo-strategic conditions of our neighborhood.
Under these new conditions, all the old models of Indo-Pak interactions have failed and we urgently need new ways to approach this.
Pakistan should respect India's role in the world, and work with Indians to solve bilateral problems.
India should respect Pakistan's geo-strategic importance and its role as major world power. Pakistan may look down and out from Indian nationalists' point of view, but that is not a correct view. This is precisely why Indians should not take mutual issues out to the West. That hurts BOTH the countries.
Islamists in their zeal to destabilize Pakistan, are trying their best to get India involved in petty squabbles with Pakistan. Indians should never buy into Islamists schemes.
If Indians can understand these simple approaches, the future of this region is really bright. It is easy to see India and Pakistan emerging as Germany and Britain of Europe.
However if we do not realize the change in the world, and continue behaving like our yesteryears' role as dueling Maharajas, then it won't be long that a new East India company, or a new Gouri will be pillaging our lands i.e. if anything would left to pillage.
