too young for chesty cogh medications, so what can i give/use for her cough..?

what did you do before you discovered GS?
I will suggest honey but I think people in teh US and UK don't give honey until a child is a year old!
do you have a humidifier? us that! vicks vaporub may help her too! or call the doc and they may be able to recommend something for a small baby?

not much you can do. honey, humidifier with vicks as GTG suggested, clear up some of that mucus, milk increases the Flem so instead of milk, can you give her some broth? I don't know how old she is

A little bit of honey given to her will do her good. Just a few drops from your finger. You will enjoy how they suck on your finger. But regardless, call her ped and see what they say.

i did call doc, i always do. and i only follow their advice, however didnt see the harm in using a forum, when thats what its supposedly for...jeez cant win if i put up a silly problem in life1, and here i ask a reasonable qeustion about a babys health and even thats not good enough...

Honey- yes we tried that in some cooled boiled water but she wont drink it...so honey on my fingers? and put it into her mouth..? im looking at a humidifier, all out of bloody stock.....whats the best one...

Humidifier with vicks..If you cant get that right now, boil some water w/ a tablespoon of vicks in it.

someone suggested warming a lil olive oil and massaging baby's throat and perhaps even chest with it. Haven't tried it with my lil one yet

give baby some steam.. but not too much.
in the earlier days my baby got a blocked nose and was wheezing a little.
I kept a bowl of boiled steaming water near my side cabinet, that helped a little.

This is the harm in following advise from a forum. These are of course generally trustworthy and experienced people, but they are not responsible for your child; YOU ARE. So you need to be certain that what you are giving her and how you are treating her is safe and carefully determined.

sahar- u dnt understand..i didnt give honey because someone told me here, mum said too and she has been giving it past 2 days, a few drops in cooled boiled water thats all...
however ur right, i shoudlve checked, like i do with everything else, i didnt check honey-assumed safe...im soooo panicy right now..and stupidly its even written on the back of the honey jar i just checked it....why did i not read this.....
however it is a few drops in water, should i worry.....i dnt know what to do now...

told me to offer cooled boiled water, if nose blocked use saline spray for infants and get humidifier-
which i cannot find, its all sold out in my nearest store and all other stores, i did find a vaporiser which says its a similar thing...is it?

Vaporizer is fine.
It'll help with her congestion. You do get Vicks Baby Rub and also some very gentle organic baby rubs as well that you could rub on her chest and back.
