2 burned alive and one shot dead; public on a 'daku' killing spree

This is just the beginning, People are frustrated, they see no solution to their problem, Now they are willing to take law in their own hands. This is a dangerous trend, but it was build over a time.

Re: 2 burned alive and one shot dead; public on a 'daku' killing spree

only two incidents were true daku beating ups, rest of the incidents as said by IG police were made daku beatings, he mentioned one incident was a motor cycle had accident with Suzuki van and they started beating up and branded them daku's so people also joined in.

this is not a good think at all, not for daku safety but for public own safety, these daku may be for some robbery huntin and may not want to kill but in such incidents I guess if any daku goes wild it will not be a very outcome for people.

They have not beaten only cause of mis trust in Police, in general Pakistan public is always ready to get involved any such issues and ready to beat crap out of any body who is branded as thief, some guy who tease women, pick pockets etc

and this is not the way to correct the system, even these daku were criminals they need to be punished by courts not killed in public. all on the spot justice providers should be brought into courts and punished for harming another human being. set an example so people behave in civilised way.

they should hold the suspects and call the police no matter what they think of these dakus.

What about mob-like incidents in Punjab? Is MQM to be blamed too? Its not good to point everything on someone you don’t like.

This whole “daku lynching” is just the beginning of people going crazy over any hint of lawlessness, it is dangerous I agree but then police and state are not doing anything which can curb it. The only possibility of avoiding it is a nationawide cleaning up of police, providing them training, weapons and enough salary so they don’t go for bribing.

Spock: :hehe: sorry thats not what I meant to say… I just missed the reference to PPP person in “quote”, now corrected.

Do I look like a PPP spokesman to you? Ask them, they claim its the MQM not me.

Re: 2 burned alive and one shot dead; public on a 'daku' killing spree

Police, MNAs, MPAs, ministers and others have sympathy to dacoits...because they are part of them and effectively operate them...

Folks are turning into vigilantes...a good sign... :)

Re: 2 burned alive and one shot dead; public on a 'daku' killing spree

no one has sympathy to criminals, but you are not the one to decide who is really criminal and punish him.
do try this in Amsterdam, see how many people appreciate you.

Out of all the places you chose Amsterdam? hehe

I guess people feel if it's ok for Taliban to do this, it's ok for them as well.
