Thanks Xtreme.
Yes Faisal Played very well.Tomorrow morning Faisal and Rashid have their Job cut out. They need to make sure that they dont get out before avoiding follow-on.Pakistan has a very long tail and Aussies are good at finishing tails quickly.Good thing is that New bal is still 33 overs away.
They need to make another 58 run. So tomorrow first hour wil lbe very crucial.Couple of wicket and pakistan will be on verge of Follow-on.

BTW is this ARY channel a Pakistani channel or what? Anyone have any info plz ?
well Xtreme wlell said but i think you are worng about Yopunis making hundreds, he hasnt make any hundred in onedayers but in tests he got 5 hundreds and 7 fiftiesso its a fair ratio....
Well Guys mark my words here, If we fail to find a decent opener, Faisal Iqqbal will be Promoted to open the innings sooner : Thats what his uncle miandad suggested when PAkistan was in search for openers in january. So Maybe he will be prommoted to open when Inzi and Youhana returns..
And I was astonished how people were talkin of brining back Moin Khan, See Rashid can play well enough and he is a brilliant keeper :)

ARY is a Pakistani channel which covers the whole of Europe, Middle East and Pakistan.
In middle East the match is being covered by Pehla plus.
Regarding openers can't comment on Taufeeq Umar as he was out first ball. As far as Imran Nazir is concerned he has been a failure as an opener. Regardless of whether he has talent or not, he has to perform at the highest level and he has failed to do that so far. As soon as Anwar is back he should replace Nazir. Even today he went back to a ball from Mcgrath when he should have been coming forward and was plumb LBW. Very ordinary play. Not acceptable at this level.
I never liked Imran Nazir, he is talented but not smart.
He shouldn't be even playing.
I say go for Mizbah as an opener and bring in Hasan Raza to strengthen the mid order.
Faisal Iqbal doing great!
yaaro meri bhi sunlo
yo if ur gonna broadcast the match u'll be the best man/player/broadcaster of the century.....we'll ALL appreciate that n pray for u......
Pakistan don't need to take the good middle order batsmen like Misbah or Faisal up in the order....my philosophy is dont' mess w/the person n leave him alone whereever hez happy....find a genuine opener whoz justa opener if not then follow another rule which is one of our genious buddies presented.....send bowlers as openers as real openers r also gonna end up scoring somethin like 3/2 or if more 6/2.
But plz don't mess with the middle order....just find a good openiing pair or phir agar koi hamein haraa de to jo chor ki saza woh meri....
greatest goal of pakistani team in life
AVOID FOLLOW ON TOMM N BEAT THE $HIT OUTTA AUSSIES
i was hoping misbah would dig in and really make an impression, i guess warne got the better of him. Younus khan and Faisal played a gutsy innings no doubt, especialy faisal, hitting warne like that on a spinning track is no small thing, if he does go on to score a century and maybe becomes a permanent player in the team, i think lot of ppl will rememebr this innings.
I can imagin pakistan score about 275, so i think Aus will set Pak a target of about 550 with day and a half to go, should be interesting.
Dropping Danish was a mistake, Saqlain has to show what he is made of, he really has to perform well, Waqar and Shoaib going all out with the new ball, atleast they should get a couple of early wickets, lets see.
So this match is tilted towards Aus, i think third day holds the key, a draw for Pakistan will be satisfactory. Wicket will take more turn later on so lets see if Pak players can hold off austrailian attack.....actually this match is turning out to be pretty interesting.....
so lets see guys.and yeah can somebody broadcast the match pakitanvision is only showing ptv ..oh well.......

Exactly thats what I thought about Misbah cuz he seems to play well the spinners. Well you can't really say anything by just looking at one inning. I am sure Misbah will get back on Warne in 2nd inning.
yup.. especially in the last couple of one dayers, he played well, and i think he played well in that west indies practice match, pak is about 58 runs short lets see, they must bowl well on third day especially saqlain, there is no reason why he shouldnt be getting wickets. But i think misbah is a good anchor batsman, good technique, maybe a future inzi replacemen..who knows, i am not too impressed by imran nazir and taufiq umar, imran doesnt seem to have the footwork or the temperment to play important innings especially in tests, will have to wait and see, so far so good for other youngsters, its funny i was reading cricinfo, the most experienced batsman right now in the team is younus khan with 20 tests...oh well...
Someone who said that we need to look for middle order and find a genuine one.
I think if your remember correctly that Saeed Anwar played his first 10 matches coming in at number 5.
So there isn't such thing as a genuine opener or a genuine mid order batsman.
If the player is good enough he must adjust to that position, take Tendulkur for example, he has scored big runs in all positions mainly opening but he is brilliant coming in mid order.
We need to style baaz laparoos like Imran Nazir opening who doesn't know when to play what kind of shots.
Faisal Iqbal , nephew of Javed Miandad :)
I thin if Faisal progresses well, he will eventually become an opener...
coz when Inzi and Youhana returns.. he needs to have a batting place too... :) and i must say , he plays spinners Very well, i mean just like his mamoon
Faisal Iqbal -> Been watching him in the squad for a while now, and whenever hes given the oppurtunity, he does well...
Mr Xtreem, will you be broadcasting the matches?
Very first delivery for Faisal Iqbal on begining of day 3 and look what happens.
*46.5 McGrath to Faisal Iqbal, FOUR, cuts and its a lucky break for
Faisal, edged between first and second slip just over their
outstretched hands
*
47.6 Warne to Faisal Iqbal, OUT: from round the wicket and it worked,
ball turned across him to find a thin edge and mark Waugh dove to
his left to hold a low catch one handed
no comments...
GOOD job overall
And his very first ball against Shane Warne.
**47.6 Warne to Faisal Iqbal, OUT: from round the wicket and it worked,

**
Warne got his revenge...
50.5 McGrath to Rashid Latif, no run, Dropped!, edges and ball moving
away and a regulation catch to Ricky Ponting goes down, was pretty
much straight at him
Bhai aap chale hum bhi aa rahe hein jald..........subha subha kaun batting karega
